BWH Hotels strengthens MICE presence near Frankfurt

Double project for IHG and NOVUM Hospitality in Germany

🏨 NOVUM Hospitality and IHG Hotels & Resorts to open a dual-branded hotel complex in Leipzig by 2028 at 44-52 Berliner Straße, comprising a Holiday Inn with 200 rooms and a Candlewood Suites with 80 apartments. The partnership, initiated in April 2024, denotes their seventh and eighth joint projects. The complex supports Leipzig's role in trade fairs and will be developed with Hamburg-based Peters Development GmbH. Alongside 108 NOVUM hotels opening by 2028, this expansion is part of IHG's plan to double its German presence to over 200 hotels in nearly 100 cities, adding around 15,334 rooms.

Premier Inn focuses on Germany

🏨 Premier Inn, since entering Germany in 2016, has opened 61 hotels and has 37 under development. The brand invested £1.1 billion and plans to open its first hotel in Potsdam by 2027, featuring 208 rooms and an underground parking with 82 spaces. The Potsdam hotel will be on Babelsberger Straße near the central station and include serviced apartments by COSIMO Investment Group. Additionally, Premier Inn aims to expand in Berlin's Köpenick district with a 157-room hotel by the end of 2027, on a 2,674 square-meter plot with outdoor parking and a total gross floor area of 5,300 square meters.

Siblu strengthens its presence in France and the Netherlands

🏖 Siblu acquires Camping De Tol in Nunspeet, Netherlands, with plans to expand from 173 pitches and 119 mobile homes to 260 mobile homes, and Domaine Sous Les Pins in Charente-Maritime, France, increasing Siblu La Pignade Village's capacity from 487 to 580 pitches. The acquisitions strengthen Siblu's Dutch presence, which includes five other villages, and French market. In 2025, Siblu aims to reopen its 35 villages and host over 13,000 owners and 500,000 vacationers.

Leonardo Hotels expands its Italian portfolio with a ninth property

Hilton expands its lifestyle portfolio in Athens with over 500 new rooms

🏛 Hilton announced on February 20, 2025, their expansion in Greece with three new hotels in Athens by 2026, including Adia Aluma Athens (Curio Collection) and Anise Aluma Athens (Tapestry Collection), both opening in 2025, and Skylark Aluma Athens (Tapestry Collection) in 2026. Adia Aluma Athens will offer 215 rooms, Anise Aluma Athens 99 rooms, and Skylark Aluma Athens 191 rooms. This expansion adds 500 rooms to Hilton's Athens portfolio, which currently includes 10 hotels like Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue and Lindian Village All-Inclusive Resort Rhodes. Hilton is also launching Conrad Athens in 2025, introducing the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to Greece.

Radisson bets on the Iberian region: expansion in Spain and strengthening in Portugal

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group expands in Spain with Radisson RED Malaga (102 rooms, opening Q2 2027) and Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife (242 units, opening Q4 2025). limehome continues its expansion in Spain and enters the province of Cadiz
