Radisson Hotel Group Adds Almost 40,000 Keys to Global Portfolio

📌 Radisson Hotel Group achieved a record year in 2024, adding almost 40,000 keys globally. The Radisson Collection grew to nearly 70 hotels, including first properties in Paris and Madrid, third in Riyadh, and flagship openings in Rome and Srinagar. The art’otel brand opened in London in May 2024 and is planned for Rome in 2025. Radisson Blu added over 20 hotels with new markets in Casablanca and Conakry. Radisson RED entered markets like Danang, Berlin, Auckland, Vientiane, Abuja, and made its Ireland debut in Galway and Thailand debut in Phuket Patong Beach. Radisson Individuals saw 15 new APAC additions in 2024, and Prize by Radisson was launched with upcoming properties in Gdansk and Berlin. Over 150 Radisson properties are operational or under development, including new Mauritius hotels. The group plans to continue strategic geographic expansions in 2025.

TPG Hotels & Resorts Details Veranda House Reopening

The historic building, originally established in 1684, offers 19 rooms and has been updated with amenities, ADA-compliant facilities, and new IT systems while preserving its historic character. The project was a collaboration with the Town of Nantucket and the Historic District Commission.

Access Point Financial Names Michelle O’Brien Managing Director of Structured Finance

My Place Hotels of America Opens Largest Hotel to Date

🏨 My Place Hotels of America opened My Place Hotel-Las Vegas South/Henderson, Nevada, owned by St. Rose H9 LLC and managed by National Hospitality Management. Developed by Legacy Builders, designed by Richardson Group, it's the largest My Place Hotel with 94 keys. Features include full kitchens, on-site laundry, a 24-hour market, parking, and pet-friendly services. NHM previously purchased a My Place Hotel in North Las Vegas in 2021. The property is near various business hubs, including distribution centers and sports complexes. This opening marks a strong start to My Place's 2025, adding to their new properties for the year.

Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel Names Meyer Jabara Hotels as Manager

🏡 Meyer Jabara Hotels took over management of Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel, Autograph Collection in Columbia, Maryland, featuring 212 rooms, an upscale restaurant, rooftop pool, and 14,000 sq ft event space. Owner IMH Columbia LLC, near Merriweather Post Pavilion. Justin Jabara highlighted their experience in Maryland since the 1990s. New general manager Jeff Sweet, formerly of Pyramid Global Hospitality and Starwood Hotels, was appointed. The hotel recently added a 78-room tower and 2,000 sq ft of meeting space, plus a redesigned lobby and 1,200 sq ft penthouse suite.

Peachtree Group Surpasses $2 Billion in Hotel Development

🏨 Peachtree Group in Atlanta, Georgia, has exceeded $2 billion in hotel development, with a portfolio of 48 hotels. Starting 17 years ago with a $10 million Fairfield Inn in Alabama, the company has grown, marking recent achievements like topping out a beachfront hotel in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and breaking ground on a dual-branded hotel in Uptown Dallas, Texas in August 2024. Their dual-branded Marriott development in Dallas features 264 rooms, while a Tru by Hilton in Huntsville is set to open in Q4 2025, and a beachfront Embassy Suites in Alabama is due in summer 2025. Ten hotels have been opened in Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZ) with five under construction and three in the pipeline, reflecting Peachtree's commitment to economic development in underserved areas.

Drury Plaza Hotel College Station Opens

🏨 The Drury Plaza Hotel College Station, the 18th Drury Hotel in Texas, opened in 2025 near Texas A&M University. It features 160 guestrooms, 1,100 square feet of meeting space, free hot breakfast, 5:30 Kickback snacks, WiFi, parking, an indoor pool, and 24-hour business and fitness centers. The hotel employs 50 staff, led by General Manager Matilda Harmon. Drury Hotels plans three more openings in 2025. The hotel's Meetings with More program offers flexible event planning with no F&B minimums.
