IHG Hotels & Resorts Names Anacove a Preferred Vendor of Connected Thermostats

💾 IHG Hotels & Resorts selected Anacove as a Preferred Vendor for connected thermostats based on IHG's independent testing, which showed Anacove's solutions outperform competitors in energy savings and efficiency. Anacove's CEO Ian Lerner highlighted the benefit of reduced energy consumption for over 6,600 IHG hotels globally. The Allumia-conducted study in Atlanta, Georgia; Orange Beach, Alabama; and Fort Walton, Florida, confirmed Anacove's thermostats work effectively both when rooms are occupied and unoccupied, offering a payback period of under 12 months. Anacove integrates directly with IHG systems, requiring no additional hardware.

HREC Arranges Sale of Holiday Inn Express & Hampton Inn Glenwood Springs

Nightcap Management acquired the hotels, having developed and purchased over 15 hotels worth $200 million in 5 years. Representation for the seller, Terrapin Investments, was by HREC's Herb Warmbrodt, Mike Dubé, Jeffrey Duni, and Adam Lallani. Glenwood Springs' lodging market is noted for its strong performance due to record tourism.

Highline Hospitality Expands Portfolio With Acquisition of Hilton Atlanta Airport

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego Unveils Reimagination Of Sally’s Restaurant

🍴 Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego unveiled the transformation of Sally’s restaurant set for a full launch in May, introducing Baja Med cuisine. With an expanded outdoor terrace, the waterfront venue is the first milestone in the hotel’s property-wide enhancement. Chef de Cuisine Alvaro Garcia, drawing from regional flavors, has designed a menu featuring dishes like grilled Spanish octopus and a 32-ounce tomahawk steak, complemented by mezcal- and tequila-based cocktails, local craft beers, and regional wines. Hilton Brooklyn New York Completes $5.5 Million Renovation

🖤 Hilton Brooklyn New York, managed by HHM Hotels and owned by Ohana Real Estate Investors, completed a major renovation, updating guest rooms, meeting spaces, and communal areas. Inspired by the property's history and Brooklyn's nautical heritage, the design by Whitehall Interiors features a maritime color palette and rope motifs. The hotel offers 196 guest rooms, ranging from 315 to 670 square feet, equipped with modern amenities like smartphone docking stations, 55-inch HD TVs, and Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. The Black Walnut lobby bar serves gastropub cuisine and boasts a selection of local beers, wines, and signature cocktails. The hotel's updated meeting space totals 1,740 square feet, with flexible room configurations. An upgraded fitness center now includes new equipment and a Peloton bike. The Hilton Brooklyn New York is conveniently located near 13 subway lines and attractions such as the Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Hunter Hotel Advisors Closes $31.47 Million in Financing for Three Hotels

CoStar: U.S. Hotel Industry Closes March With Positive Yearly Comparisons

🏨 U.S. hotel industry saw positive yearly comparisons through March 29, 2025. Occupancy increased by 4.4% to 65.1%, ADR rose to $161.65 (up 2.5%), and RevPAR grew by 7.0% to $105.19. St. Louis topped the Top 25 Markets with occupancy up 27% to 76.8%, ADR up 15.8% to $138.00, and RevPAR up 47% to $105.94. Conversely, New York City and Oahu experienced RevPAR declines of 9% ($229.99) and 5.4% ($217.74), respectively.
