Choice Hotels International Opens Its 69th Annual Convention
📈 At the 69th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Choice Hotels International's CEO Patrick Pacious addressed hotel owners and partners, focusing on the future of hospitality. The company noted a 40% business traveler clientele, a 44% increase in upscale rooms last year, loyalty membership surpassing 70 million, and a 6% year-over-year increase in direct bookings. Over $25 million in operational cost savings were found, with a 9% average savings on food costs since July 2024. ChoiceROCS consultancy led to a 100-basis-point premium in RevPAR Index and $81 million in incremental revenue. Strategic partnerships boosted group and transient business revenue by 45% and 20%, respectively. Choice plans further innovation with AI and new brand features, aiming to open 25 Everhome Suites by 2025 and continuing growth in upscale segments with over 110,000 rooms.
