Emmott will take over the role from 1 January 2025, with Venters remaining in place for the remainder of the year.

It comes after Venters revealed in September that he was stepping down as CEO of the business following a row that accused Artfarm of presiding over a ‘destruction’ of Soho private members club The Groucho, which it acquired back in 2022.

Emmott joined Artfarm in 2018, initially as chief of staff before moving into the role of creative director, working closely with owners Iwan and Manuela Wirth to deliver their vision as well as overseeing the development of their expanding hotel, restaurant and retail operations.

“Bee has been an integral member of our executive team for many years and has a deep-rooted understanding of both the creative and operational aspects of our business,” says Iwan and Manuela.

“Working closely with our artists, architects and designers alongside our hotel, restaurant and retail teams, Bee’s experience is invaluable as we enter the next phaseof Artfarm’s development, with further openings planned in the UK, Europe and North America.”

Venters has overseen a significant expansion of Artfarm since joining the group in 2021.

Primarily based across London and Scotland, it operates a collection of high-end hospitality businesses that includes The Audley Public House and Mount St. Restaurant in London’s Mayfair; Fish Shop in Ballater; and the Fife Arms.
