K West Hotel to reopen as Hotel Indigo Shepherd’s Bush in 2026

Baron’s Eden acquires Orsett Hall

This marks Barons Eden’s second purchase post-investment from Alchemy Partners. Previously owned by the Barton-Wright family since 1993, Orsett Hall is a prime venue for weddings and events.

WTM: Global travel industry to outpace wider economy over next decade

By 2035, the industry will reach $16tn, nearly 12% of global GDP. In 2025, arrivals will exceed 1.5 billion. Growth driven by Asia Pacific demand, experiences, and events. Challenges include sustainability costs and geopolitical factors. Northern Europe sees a “coolcation” rise. AI, digital platforms boost demand. US inbound travel to fall 6% in 2025, rebounding by 2029.

Strand Palace unveils new M&E spaces amid £55m refurb

L+R Hotels manages over 112 hotels worldwide with 22,000 rooms across the UK, Europe, the US, and the Caribbean.

Walk for Wellbeing reaches £500k to support UK Hospitality

🚶 Walk for Wellbeing has raised over £500,000 for Hospitality Action since its inception in 2020. This year's event in October saw a record 1,400 participants from the hospitality industry, raising £165,000. The initiative, with 12 host cities including new additions Cornwall, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and York, involved 20km walks. "Walk It Your Way" allowed flexible participation from October 10-26. Funds aid mental health support and prevent homelessness, with Hospitality Action distributing over £5 million in grants since 2020.

Six new GMs join Aimbridge EMEA’s UK and European portfolio

Hilton to open The Derby London City in Feb 2026
