Walk for Wellbeing reaches £500k to support UK Hospitality

🚶 Walk for Wellbeing has raised over £500,000 for Hospitality Action since its inception in 2020. This year's event in October saw a record 1,400 participants from the hospitality industry, raising £165,000. The initiative, with 12 host cities including new additions Cornwall, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and York, involved 20km walks. "Walk It Your Way" allowed flexible participation from October 10-26. Funds aid mental health support and prevent homelessness, with Hospitality Action distributing over £5 million in grants since 2020.

Six new GMs join Aimbridge EMEA’s UK and European portfolio

Radisson signs New Bath Hotel and Spa to join Individuals portfolio

Hilton to open The Derby London City in Feb 2026

Accor lifts profit guidance and announces €100m share buyback

Surya Hotels begins first phase of £25m Theobalds Estate refurb

RSM: Hospitality under further pressure as wages rise to record high

Regular pay growth was 5.9% in this sector, compared to the public sector's 6.0%. The hospitality industry faces pressure from rising wages and seeks government support in the upcoming Autumn Budget.
