Premier Inn secures approval for new hotel at Edinburgh Airport

🏨 Edinburgh City Council approved a new Premier Inn hotel near Edinburgh Airport, opening in 2028. The 218-bedroom hotel, located on Eastfield Road, is less than a 10-minute walk from the terminal, supporting the airport's 16 million annual passengers. The five-story hotel, fully powered by renewable electricity, includes 100 parking spaces. Whitbread expects its guests to add £32m annually in city spending. Premier Inn aims to expand from 85,000 rooms to 125,000 across the UK and Ireland.

AVLA reaches settlement with Britannia Hotels over copyright case

St. Pancras London undergoes eight-figure refurb

Leading Hotels of the World adds 10 new properties to its portfolio

Windjammer Landing Resort in Saint Lucia reopened in 2023 post-renovation. The UK addition is Beaverbrook in Surrey. U.S. entries include Hotel Chelsea in New York and El Encanto in Santa Barbara. European additions feature Ancora Cortina in Italy, reopening in 2025, and Asia gains Pearl Gallery Hotel in Guiyang, China.
