CoStar: Holiday Calendar Shift Boosts U.S. Hotel Performance
📦 In the U.S. hotel industry, occupancy rose to 70.3% (up 2.4%), ADR increased to $166.88 (up 1.4%), and RevPAR jumped to $117.28 (up 3.8%) year-over-year for the week of October 6-12, 2024. New Orleans led with occupancy up 20.1% to 75.6%, ADR up 13.1% to $194.70, and RevPAR up 35.9% to $147.18, boosted by the Water Environment Federation’s event. Atlanta's occupancy and RevPAR rose 15.6% and 20.6% due to Hurricane Milton. Oahu Island and Tampa saw RevPAR declines of 10.3% and 9.8% due to the same hurricane.
