Hotel Equities Announces Planned Retirement of Founder

📈 ATLANTA, Georgia—Fred Cerrone, founder of Hotel Equities, will retire on November 22, 2025, after 58 years in hospitality. Post-merger with Springboard Hospitality, Brad Rahinsky is now co-chairman, and Ben Rafter is CEO. Cerrone's legacy of integrity and service will continue to guide the organization.

Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel Completes Renovation

🏨 Northbrook, Illinois—Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel completed a property-wide renovation managed by The Gettys Group and Ste Marie Design. Starting in 2020, the renovation took place in two phases: updating all guestrooms first and then public spaces, meeting venues, and exterior. Now open, the hotel boasts 20,000+ sq ft of flexible space, 21 breakout rooms, and The Greenery venue for up to 500 guests. Enhancements include a new club lounge and tech-forward fitness center.
