Young’s Pubs announce new opening in Farnham, Teller’s Arms

🏦 Young & Co.’s Brewery P.L.C. to open Teller’s Arms pub in Farnham, Surrey, this October. The former bank, transformed into a 168-capacity venue, includes nine boutique bedrooms and an all-day dining space. Head Chef Ryan Patterson to offer seasonal British cuisine. The Harrison agency-designed space features a roof terrace, set to receive a retractable roof by spring 2025. St Michaels Resort, Falmouth to host ‘Oyster Weekend’ in place of the postponed Falmouth Oyster Festival this year

🌺 St Michaels Resort in Falmouth sponsors the Oyster Festival for 20+ years. 2024's festival is canceled due to costs, but St Michaels will host an autumn event, celebrating oysters and community. Features include live music, chef demonstrations by Jude Kereama and others, gourmet street-food, oyster shucking competition, and local crafts. Free entry until 6pm, then £2 for charity. Acts include Will Keating, Soul Sensations, Culdrose Military Wives Choir, and Oggymen. Nigel Carpenter confirms festival's return on 9-12 October 2025. St Michaels also sponsors Falmouth International Arts and Book Festivals in October.

Kall Kwik, known for adapting to community needs by expanding from printing to comprehensive business solutions, joins XplorerGroup's portfolio including ComputerXplorers, ActiveXplorers, and Discover My Franchise. Nigel Toplis, with 30 years at Kall Kwik, will stay as Non-Executive Chairman for five more years, enhancing the brand with new opportunities and recruits.

Introducing Morocco’s Newest Luxury Boutique Hotel: Eden

🏕 Eden, a luxury boutique hotel, opened in the High Atlas Mountains above Dades Valley, Morocco, earlier this year. The hotel features 18 luxurious rooms designed by local artisans, a garden oasis by French architect Guillaume Berthier, a fine dining experience with seasonal produce from their kitchen garden, a hammam spa offering traditional Moroccan treatments, and excursions into the High Atlas Mountains. The Sabiri brothers, with over 30 years of hospitality experience, manage the hotel, emphasizing Moroccan hospitality and culture.

IHG Hotels & Resorts surpasses 200 open hotels across its Northern Europe market

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts surpassed 200 open hotels in Northern Europe as of 24 September 2024, introducing brands in Germany, Hungary, Sweden, and Poland. Germany anticipates the debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Garner in late 2024, and Candlewood Suites in early 2025. Hungary opened its first Kimpton and Vignette Collection hotels, and Sweden welcomed voco Stockholm. Poland plans to open Holiday Inn Express Lublin by end of 2024 and voco Katowice in 2025. In total, IHG has 197 operating properties and 169 in development across 13 Northern Europe countries.
