House of EM Transforms North London Terrace with Prefabricated Concrete Extension for Indoor-Outdoor Living
🏠 House of EM modernized a two-storey house in Kensal Rise, north London, adding a sunken rear extension for indoor-outdoor living. The project involved prefabricated concrete panels, lowering the extension by 500mm for space definition, and removing old extensions. The design accommodates a family of four with open-plan interiors, influenced by Scandinavian and Brazilian architecture. The revamped layout includes high ceilings, large openings, and skylights to enhance natural light, meeting the clients' requests for bright, spacious living areas.
