🏠 Nazuna Kyoto Higashihonganji, a 100-year-old machiya, is now a 600-square-meter hotel by Studio Aluc in central Kyoto. Toune, by architect Keiji Ashizawa, is a contemporary holiday home in Kyoto. Le Labo's flagship store by Schemata Architects in Kiyamachi blends Japanese and Western design. Issey Miyake's Kyoto store, in a 132-year-old machiya, features a gallery by Naoto Fukasawa. Challe cafe by UNC Studio offers a bold Japanese-Mexican ambiance in Kamigyo Ward.
