Joyce Wang Completes Colonial-Inspired Interior Renovation of Mandarin Oriental The Landmark in Hong Kong

🏠 Designer Joyce Wang revamped the interior of the Mandarin Oriental The Landmark hotel in Hong Kong, aiming to evoke colonial mansion vibes. Located on Queen's Road in Central Hong Kong, the hotel first opened a decade ago and recently reopened after renovations by Joyce Wang Studio and a facade redesign by Neri&Hu. Emphasizing local relevance and heritage, the interior includes stone, timber, and terracotta tones, complemented by custom eglomisé glass and a curated art program.

Linehouse Designs Interiors for Bangkok's Central Park Shopping Centre with Silver, Copper, and Bronze Atriums

🏬 Central Park, located next to Bangkok's Lumpini Park, features interiors by Chinese studio Linehouse. This mixed-use development, on the former site of the Dusit Thani Hotel, includes a hotel, residences, offices, and a six-story retail podium. Spanning 40,000 square meters, the shopping center has four levels of fashion retail and two dining levels. Its design is centered around three metal-clad atriums—silver, copper, and bronze—symbolizing prosperity in Thai culture.
