🏨 Whitbread will open a second Premier Inn in Bath city centre on Lower Bristol Road, replacing the vacant Beazer House office block. The 152-bedroom, six-storey hotel, with a restaurant and bar, will begin construction in early 2026 and open in 2028. It will achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and run on renewable electricity. Bath attracts six million visitors annually, and Whitbread plans to expand to 125,000 rooms from its current 85,000 across 850 hotels in the UK and Ireland.

🎵 Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool reopened its restaurant as North Sixty4 after an £87k refurbishment. Located on North John Street, it’s the first major update since 2008. The 98-cover venue led by Liam Baker-Bellew celebrates Liverpool's cultural history, including tributes to the Beatles. Renovations feature new lighting, tables, and decor. The menu, crafted by Jack Moss, offers grill dishes, pasta, and British staples. The redesign aims to combine casual dining with fine dining elements.

🏨 Sunday Hotel aims to double its UK four-star and five-star hotels by 2026. Currently with 20 locations, including London, Cardiff, and Liverpool, it debuted in 2024. The expansion strategy involves management contracts that promise a 25%-30% revenue boost and up to 40% cost reduction. Puneet Yadav highlights their commitment to the UK market. 🏨 Radisson Individuals opened its first hotel in Malta at Cavalieri Art Hotel, Saint Julian’s, featuring 254 rooms, suites, three dining venues, pools, a spa, and event facilities. Located at Balluta Bay, it offers modern interiors, bay views, and access to local attractions. Dining includes Baco Noir, Ottocento, and Pommarola. 🏨 Travelodge's revenue fell by 3.2% to £471.3m for the six months to June 30 due to softer demand in Greater London and industry-wide cost pressures, including a £20m hit from inflation. First-half group EBITDA dropped to £47.3m from £82.1m in 2024. Despite challenges, occupancy exceeded 82%, and the Spanish arm's revenue and EBITDA rose by over 30%. 🏨 Palladium Hotel Group has invested €90m in three projects in Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza, to enhance its luxury status. By the end of 2026, two hotels and a cultural venue will be operational.
