EasyHotel introduces Apple Wallet room keys

🚪 EasyHotel, in collaboration with Alliants and Dormakaba, launched digital room keys in Apple Wallet at its London City Shoreditch and Paris Aubervilliers locations. Guests can access rooms and shared spaces using an iPhone or Apple Watch, with features like Express Mode and Power Reserve. This eco-friendly initiative, reducing reliance on 55,000 plastic cards annually, offers remote updates for room changes and check-outs. COO Louis Poisson aims to expand this technology to more hotels soon.

Offshore owners acquire three Ibis hotels

Originally a drovers’ inn from the 1700s, it was redeveloped during the Victorian era and now features 32 suites. The sale was managed by Graham and Sibbald for administrators Julie Tait and Stuart Preston. Located near Loch Rannoch, the hotel complements Loch Rannoch Hotel’s spa and dining options.

PPHE completes £17.5m acquisition of Tower Bridge development site

The site, near Tower Bridge, will host a Radisson Red lifestyle hotel with 182 rooms, a restaurant, bar, gym, and 41,000 sq ft of office space. The project seeks BREEAM “Excellent” accreditation and is PPHE’s European Hospitality Fund’s second acquisition. Their portfolio is valued at £2.2bn.

Jeopardy Hospitality reopens The General Tarleton after major refurb
