Owned by Leishla Maldonado and brothers Osman and Yefri Cortave, the vision was a 'vintage Latin bar' with a 450 square foot intimate space. 1970s Italian cast glass sconces and amber window panes enhance the ambiance. Vintage or second-hand furniture and custom pieces by Transom Woodwork, including a velvet-upholstered banquette, adorn the space. Studio Becky Carter, founded in 2016, was shortlisted for emerging interior designer of the year at the Dezeen Awards 2023.

🏠 French designer Philippe Starck used local Brazilian materials for the interiors of a 12,000 square-foot penthouse in the Rosewood São Paulo, housed within Jean Nouvel's "vertical garden tower". The space features stainless steel counters, small chairs, stools, and flexible tables with vinyl-wrapped tops displaying food imagery. Red baskets are used for storage and can be rearranged as table bases or extra stools. Additional seating is available outside under a neon sign.
