Aimbridge to manage six-hotel voco portfolio in Mexico

📍 Aimbridge Hospitality will manage six hotels in Mexico, owned by Alliance Hotel Management, under the IHG voco brand. Scheduled rebranding is set for 2026, bringing Aimbridge's voco properties in North America to ten. Three hotels will reopen in April 2026: Real Inn Cancún (160 keys), Real Inn Guadalajara Expo (163 keys), and Real Inn Ciudad Juárez (150 keys). The other three will reopen in October 2026 after renovations: Real Inn San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, and Torreón.

Sofitel New York unveils Art Deco renovations

MCHG acquires Homewood Suites Saratoga Springs

bohème boutique hotel set to open in Austin next year

🏨 Elysian Real Estate Group will open bohème, a boutique hotel, in East Austin by summer 2026 at 400 Comal St. The hotel will have 20 rooms, including 14 standard rooms and six unique suites. Originally a sustainable apartment building, it’s redeveloped with Baldridge Architects. Amenities include a rooftop bar and a first-floor grocer. Each suite reflects Austin’s culture, like The Outlaw and The Muse. The project celebrates Austin’s art, music, and innovation.

Brookfield scoops up Phoenix’s largest hotel

🏨 Blackstone sold the 1,003-room Sheraton Phoenix Downtown to Brookfield Asset Management. Located in Phoenix, it features 112,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including the 27,200 sq. ft. Phoenix Ballroom. Opened in 2008 and renovated for $45 million in 2020, the hotel spans 806,481 sq. ft. It offers three dining venues, a 4,300 sq. ft. fitness center, and an outdoor pool. 🏨

Equinox Hotels expands with Anguilla resort launch

Crestline to manage new Hoya Hotel Georgetown

Mandarin Oriental Jeddah to open in 2030
