CORI Hornbæk Hotel to Open as Luxury Coastal Spa Retreat in Denmark on September 1, 2026

🏨 Denmark, 1 September 2026, Hornbæk Beach: CORI Hornbæk Hotel opens as a luxury coastal spa retreat with 77 rooms and five townhouse apartments, designed by Afroditi Krassa. Amenities include CORI Spa, The Jetty bar, and Cori Table by chef Brian Mark Hansen. The hotel revives Ole Falkentorp's 1935 "Badehotel" with a modern twist, blending Danish culture with global luxury. Developed by COPI and part of Leading Hotels of the World, it aims for year-round guest rejuvenation.

The Elysium Collection Launches in UK with Luxury Hotels Opening in Cornwall, Surrey, and Lake District

🏨 The Elysium Collection, founded by BH Group, has launched in the UK with luxury hotels in Cornwall, Surrey, and the Lake District. In summer 2025, they acquired the Selsdon Park Estate and five former Coast & Country Hotels. The collection’s first hotel, Elysium St Mawes, opens this autumn with 56 rooms, featuring a TEMPLESPA. Culinary operations are led by Stephane Delourme. The focus is on time-conscious travel, offering thoughtfully curated experiences.

Nobu and SODIC Announce Three New Hotel and Residence Projects Across Egypt, Expanding Luxury Hospitality Presence

🏨 Nobu and SODIC will open three hotel and residence projects in Egypt. Nobu Hotel and Residences North Coast joins an existing restaurant in the 440-acre OGAMI coastal destination. Nobu New Cairo opens this summer in Eastown District, with a hotel following in 2027. A third project will be in New Zayed. Co-founders Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper highlight Egypt's rich culture and energy in their expansion.

Jason Kow Regains Control of Queensgate, Restructures US Portfolio and Launches Dubai-Based Halston Street

📈 Jason Kow gained control of Queensgate from AlTi Tiedemann administrators in July 2025, following the restructuring of their US hospitality portfolio, involving six hotels and 1,176 keys in key US cities. Queensgate manages €3 billion in assets and completed a €800 million sale of European operations to Brookfield, involving 15 properties and 2,749 keys. Kow launched Halston Street in Dubai for global investments. Queensgate aims to invest in income-producing assets across Europe, the US, and the GCC.

Theobalds Estate in Hertfordshire Launches Phase One of £25 Million Wellness Centre with Gym and Studios

UMusic and Universal Music Group to Open 150-Room Hotel and 600 Residences in Austin on 71-Acre Site

🏨 UMusic Hospitality & Lifestyle, in partnership with Universal Music Group, will open its first hotel with residences in Austin. The five-star UMusic Hotel & Private Residences Austin will feature 150 guest rooms and 600 private residences on a 71-acre site. White Rocks is the owner and developer. Over 70% of the site will remain green, supporting Austin’s 100% water reuse goal. The development will include an amphitheater, studios, and entertainment amenities.
