Washington’s The Morrow Hotel secures $53M refinancing

🏨 JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group arranged a $53 million refinancing for The Morrow Hotel, a 203-room property in Washington, D.C.’s NoMa district, owned by Trammell Crow Company and MetLife Investment Management with Peachtree Group financing. Opened in November 2022, it features 203 guestrooms and nearly 11,600 square feet of event space. Chef Marcus Samuelsson leads its culinary program. Located conveniently near Union Market and the U.S. Capitol, the hotel benefits from Washington, D.C.'s diverse economic base.

The Hoxton to open first property in Ireland

🏨 The Hoxton opens its first Irish property in Dublin’s Creative Quarter this November. Located in a restored Victorian building on Exchequer Street, the hotel features 129 rooms and a variety of dining venues, including the Peruvian-inspired Cantina Valentina and the sandwich-turned-wine bar, Dollars. AIME Studios designed the space with Irish and Viking influences. Groundwork, a new nightlife venue, and the reimagined Library Bar enhance the local nightlife. The hotel is conveniently near Grafton Street and Temple Bar.

Embassy Suites Phoenix Biltmore completes renovation

🏨 Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore revamped its property with a three-year renovation, completed in 2023, in Phoenix’s Biltmore neighborhood. The project included upgrades to public spaces, 232 two-room suites, and the Camelback Room with 20,000 sq ft of event space. A new dining concept, TASTE, was launched. The atrium features desert-inspired designs, while outdoor and fitness areas were modernized with a Peloton Bike. Complimentary breakfast and evening receptions continue for guests.

St. Regis Papagayo Resort breaks ground in Costa Rica

Solana, partnered with Sordo Madaleno Architects and Gensler, leads the project, including the Astor Mansion, a 21,161-square-foot estate.
