Plans for Carlisle Premier Inn given green light by Cumberland Council

The 104-room hotel will generate an estimated £4m annually for the local economy, create 25 permanent jobs, and support 45 construction jobs. Whitbread seeks planning permission for North Walsham Premier Inn

The £10m project includes 80 parking spaces and sustainable energy features. If approved, it will create 20 permanent jobs. North Walsham currently lacks branded hotels, with the nearest Premier Inns in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Whitbread aims to expand its Premier Inn rooms from 85,500 to 125,000 across the UK and Ireland.

Nadhim Zahawi joins firm investing £1bn into Mayfair hotels

The Evolution Investment Fund, based in the British Virgin Islands, has taken a leasehold interest in the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square and a development site near New Bond Street. The Marriott spans 198,000 sq ft with 237 rooms. The new site will offer 94 hotel rooms and six luxury residences. Zahawi, former UK Chancellor, will serve as director.

Great Wolf Lodge to transform golf centre into over 500-room resort
