MRDK creates Toronto pizzeria with an upstairs-downstairs atmosphere

🍕 Ménard Dworkind's 2,550-square-foot restaurant in Toronto's Etobicoke opened in April 2025. The eighth North of Brooklyn location features a ground-level takeout counter and the Low Rise bar lounge above. The design incorporates DTILE's molded tiles and walnut tables, seating 40. The bar is clad in a marble mosaic with a zinc top. The intimate space is enhanced by new west-facing windows and mirrors on the east side, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Ménard Dworkind combines bold yellows with muted tones in Montreal restaurant

🎉 Montreal-based studio Ménard Dworkind designed the interior for Le Red Tiger, a Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal's Shop Angus district, accommodating over 100 guests. The restaurant's second location features a lively spirit reminiscent of its original 2015 establishment in the Village neighbourhood. The design includes blue and white mosaic tile floors with yellow accents, exposed chrome ductwork, vintage touches, an open kitchen, and a community table made from British Columbia fir.
