Small Luxury Hotels of the World Details Growth Throughout 2025

🏨 Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) marked its 35th anniversary in 2025 by adding 100 new member hotels, surpassing 650 properties across over 90 countries. In 2026, new openings include Niva Labriz Seychelles, Shanghai Muh Shoou Zhujing in China, The Landmark Rhodes in Greece, and THE PASONA in Japan. In Australia, Levantine Hill Hotel will open, as well as Sanctuary Rainforest Resort in Dominica. SLH’s partnership with Hilton celebrated its first anniversary in July 2025, boosting revenue by 18%.

Sonesta Expands NPA Franchise Portfolio With the Transition of 45 Hotels

CoStar Reports Mixed U.S. Hotel Industry Performance Results in November

🖼 U.S. hotel occupancy fell in November 2025, marking a ninth consecutive month of decline. Occupancy was 57.9%, a 2.8% drop from November 2024. ADR increased by 0.6% to $153.77, while RevPAR decreased by 2.3% to $88.97. Tampa, Florida, saw the steepest declines, with occupancy down to 63.3% and RevPAR down to $97.57, largely due to Hurricane Milton's aftermath. Minneapolis and Detroit reported the lowest occupancy rates at 51.9% and 55.9%, respectively.

SiteMinder: World Cup Draw Leads to Strong Booking Activity for U.S. Hotels

As of December 12, 2025, bookings for the U.S. vs. Paraguay match in Los Angeles on June 12 rose 80.5%, with ADR up 21.4%. For the England vs. Croatia match in Dallas on June 17, booking volumes grew 113.65%, with a 5.6% rise in ADR. The World Cup Final in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 19 saw ADR increase by 72.42%, and bookings by 102.10%.

AHLA Joins the U.S. Food Waste Pact
