Brintons launches first commercial carpet collection with the V&A

🏠 Brintons, a heritage carpet brand, launched the Design Discoveries carpet collection in collaboration with the V&A in November 2024, inspired by French artist Emile-Allain Séguy's work. Available for commercial clients, the collection features six designs, with customization options through Brintons Design Studio Online. Jodie Hatton and Amelia Calver highlighted the collection's modern reinterpretation of Séguy's Art Deco style and natural motifs, designed by Brintons' global team.

Warwickshire’s best-kept secret is out as new Speakeasy Bar opens its doors

🍸 Hush, Leamington's new speakeasy bar, transports guests to the Prohibition era with a 1920/30s American vibe. Opening as a private members' bar in January, it offers a five-star service and live music. The space, previously the Robbins Well cellar bar, has been revamped into a 40-meter underground bar after 10 years. Managed by Matthew Nisbets and Bethany Gaunt, the bar showcases 25 crafted cocktails, 13 gins, 13 rums, and 25 whiskeys, alongside over 20 wine selections, including premium Champagnes. The venue, adorned in Art Deco and murals by Gemma Grao, will operate from 5pm-2.30am on Thursdays to Saturdays, and offer private room hires outside core hours.

Key events for 2025 include the Blenheim Palace Food Festival (24th – 26th May), Flower Show (27th – 29th June), and a Jousting Tournament (3rd – 5th May). Planning is already in progress for Christmas 2025. The success supports the hospital with each ticket sold.

London Bridge rooftop transforms into an alpine wonderland this winter

❄ Opening from 27th November to March 2025, the London Bridge Rooftop transforms into an Alpine-themed destination featuring vintage ski decor, live DJs, festive food, and cocktails. Weekday lunches offer a £20 festive menu, while the £25 menu is available from 3pm. "We Got This Friday!" parties with house, garage, and disco music, and "Après Brunch" Saturdays with 90 minutes of bottomless drinks for £45. Sundays in December feature £6 Aperol Spritz or mulled wine. Private hire includes 10-person cable cars and a Christmas Grotto, with a New Year's Eve party offering unlimited drinks and a Moet toast at midnight. Bookings are recommended via their website.

Interno Marche, a design experience hotel
