📈 U.S. hotel labor costs increased 1.8% in Q1 2026, with CPOR rising from $45.96 to $46.79. HPOR declined 2.3%, from 2.154 to 2.105 hours. General manager wages grew 5.9%, room attendants 4.3%, maintenance engineers 3.6%, guest service reps 2.7%, and assistant general managers 2.6%. Select-service hotels showed a 4.2% HPOR drop, while full-service hotels HPOR fell 2.3%. Housekeeping overtime rose, with room attendant overtime increasing by 10.3%. RevPAR rose 8.7%, boosting profitability.
