HotelData.com Reports 21.1% Increase in Q4 2025 Wage Costs per Occupied Room, Highlighting Labor Cost Pressures
📈 In Q4 2025, Wages Cost per Occupied Room (CPOR) surged by 21.1% year-over-year, with the average labor CPOR rising from $42.82 in 2024 to $48.32 in 2025. Full-service hotels saw a 23.8% CPOR increase, while resorts reduced CPOR by 4.7%. Labor productivity fell, with Hours per Occupied Room (HPOR) increasing by 4.4% for the year. The GOP margin rose by 1.1 percentage points but dropped by 3.3 points in Q4.
