Blenheim Palace’s Orangery Restoration Project Wins Prestigious Architecture Award
🏛 Blenheim Palace's Orangery, a historic 18th-century structure, underwent a £2 million restoration, reopening in October 2023. On May 21, 2025, it won a prestigious RIBA South Architecture Award at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Hampshire. The project, led by Nick Cox Architects and Historic England, involved replacing the glass ceiling with timber and slate. The Orangery was one of six winners, including Eton College Hall and Hope Street, Southampton.
