🍹 Detroit, 2026: Saksey’s lounge opens in downtown Detroit's Parker’s Alley, a collaboration between NoHo Hospitality Group and the Gilbert family. The venue combines 1970s nostalgia with modern craft, featuring regional craftsmanship and local art. Interior architect Daniel Caudill blends Detroit’s past and present with dark cherry wood, green velvet, and vintage lounge pieces. Custom elements include furniture by Slowhouse Furniture, lighting by Britten Home, and a bespoke bar by Studio XC.

🏠 London, 2026: A-nrd redesigns Anise bar at Cinnamon Kitchen, Devonshire Square, originally an East India Trading warehouse. The 60-seat venue includes a monolithic bar with 24 stools in tarragon leather and a new oak countertop. The redesign features spice-inspired materials: dark oak, velvet, and terrazzo. A-nrd incorporates personal elements like Indian ceramic figurines. Chef Vivek Singh's vision, realized by A-nrd founder Alessio Nardi, aims for an intimate, inviting space without excessive design.

🏖 Red Cliffs Lodge Moab on the Colorado River completed a redesign over the past year, led by Sormeh Rienne and Atwater Inc. Studio. The property features 40 creekside and 39 riverfront suites, with a final renovation phase of 31 cabins set for completion this month. The lodge includes floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the landscape and a new restaurant, Ember. The renovations emphasize natural materials and are designed to reflect the area's rugged beauty.

🍴 Musaafer New York, launched in Tribeca as a second location of the Michelin-starred Houston concept, is designed by Chromed Design Studio from New Delhi. Chef Mayank Istwal drew inspiration from his 100-day journey across India's 29 states. The restaurant features intricate interiors, highlighted by the Sheesh Mahal room, adorned with hand-cut mirrors. The setting includes elements inspired by Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal and traditional Indian motifs, emphasizing a connection to Indian heritage.

🏨 Cameo Beverly Hills has reopened after a transformation by Premier. Located in Beverly Hills, the 138-room hotel features new spaces like Zampo, a Peruvian restaurant, and Silhouette, a lobby lounge. Guestrooms have private balconies and custom furnishings, while the pool deck offers a relaxed California vibe. The 12th-floor Starlight Ballroom provides panoramic Los Angeles views. Design highlights include handcrafted ceramics and custom mural wallcoverings by Zoe Derring and Thomas Harrison.

🏖 Six Senses the Palm, Dubai opens September on Palm Jumeirah’s West Crescent, featuring 61 suites and 172 residences. Designed by SAOTA, the resort emphasizes sustainability with natural materials and offers views of the Arabian Gulf. A 60,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, and diverse dining venues enhance guest experiences. The resort targets LEED certification, following Dubai’s EHS Green Building Code. A second development, Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, is set to open in 2028.

🏠 Construction of the Nashville EDITION Hotel & Residences, a $400 million project, has begun in downtown Nashville's Gulch neighborhood. Scheduled to open in 2028, this 28-story tower will feature 261 hotel rooms and 84 condominiums. The lower floors house the hotel, while the top 15 stories are dedicated to residences. Exclusive amenities for residents include a private gym and outdoor terrace, with access to hotel services like 24-hour concierge. Designed by ESa with interiors by INC Architecture & Design.

🏔 Utah's Sundance Mountain Resort has launched the 63-room Inn at Sundance Mountain Resort, a ski-in/ski-out hotel at the Outlaw Express lift base. Designed by Bull Stockwell Allen, the property features two wings linked by a footbridge over the North Fork Provo River. Interiors by Fettle incorporate Native heritage and 1970s-80s rustic elements. Communal spaces include the Living Room lounge and an art gallery, showcasing Tony Foster's “Watercolour Diaries from the Green River.”
