Hapi and Revinate Team Up to Enable Hoteliers to Drive Direct Bookings Quickly and at Scale
🤖 LG Electronics acquired a majority stake in Bear Robotics by exercising a call option for an additional 30% stake on Jan. 22, after an initial $60 million investment in March 2024 for a 21% stake. LG's total control now stands at 51%. The integration will enhance LG's CLOi Robots and leverage Bear Robotics' AI expertise in the U.S., South Korea, and Japan markets. The LG Home Appliance Solution Company will lead home robot development, featuring the AI Home Hub Q9, which employs Microsoft's voice tech and is set to release this year. LG's Smart Factory business is propelled by its Autonomous Vertical Articulated Robot, aiming for an integrated software platform to unify commercial, industrial, and home robot development, shorten cycles, and optimize operational efficiency.
