🏨 Holiday Inn Ratingen, operated by IHG and tristar GmbH, is set to open in Germany in the second half of 2025 after a full renovation. The hotel will offer 134 rooms, a restaurant, bar, five meeting rooms, and a 'Kids Stay & Eat Free' program. Located near Düsseldorf, Ratingen is convenient for business and leisure, with attractions like Königsallee and Kunstpalast museum nearby. IHG currently operates 220 hotels in Germany and has over 140 Holiday Inn properties, with plans to grow its portfolio further.

🛀 Solent Hotel and Spa in Fareham, part of Daniel Thwaites, completed a six-figure renovation of its wellness space in three months. The refurbishment includes a new pool hall, salt sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and storm shower with a design inspired by the coastal location. New wellness facilities aim to improve cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and respiratory health. Memberships for 2025 start at £46 per month, with a 15% discount on food and drink at FYR Restaurant in January and February, excluding February 14th and 15th. 🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts launches Garner brand in Asia Pacific with three new hotels in Osaka, Japan, offering affordable stays focused on convenience. Garner Hotel Osaka Honmachi Station, Honmachi Midosuji, and Honmachi Kita Semba each celebrate local culture and modern amenities. Opened after Garner's European debut in November 2024 and U.S. launch in 2023, aiming for 500 hotels in 10 years and 1,000 in 20 years in the U.S. Garner targets growth in Germany, Netherlands, Austria, U.K., and Turkey.

🎉 Foxhills Club & Resort in Surrey celebrated a record-breaking Christmas in 2024 with a 57% increase in Christmas Eve & Boxing Day dining attendance. Hotel bookings jumped 43% with room occupancy and 45% more guests under the Mistletoe and Holly packages. Christmas parties popularity rose by 10%, while New Year's Eve attendance skyrocketed 146%, offering events like a black tie gala and a five-course menu at The Fox dining rooms. 🏛 Accor partners with VERKEHRSBUERO HOSPITALITY to add three hotels in Austria: TRIBE Vienna City (opening in 2027, 160 rooms), Handwritten Collection's Hotel Rathauspark Wien (opening in early 2026, 105 rooms), and Novotel Salzburg (opening in 2028, 103 rooms). 🏨 Accor adds The Grand Tarabya Hotel to its Istanbul portfolio, located in the Tarabya neighborhood overlooking the Bosphorus Strait. Opened in 1966 and restored in 2013, the property will be renovated and rebranded as a Fairmont hotel. With 248 rooms and suites, 29 residences, seven dining outlets, and a wellness center, it marks Accor's 38th property in Istanbul. 🏠 Adagio will open a new aparthotel in Luxembourg's Cloche d’Or district in 2027, expanding to 17 countries. The "Botanica – Your Office Resort" development includes 520,000 square meters of office space, set to grow by 50% by 2027. 🏡 The Longfellow Hotel in Portland, Maine, designed by New York's Post Company, is a 48-room boutique hotel operated by Uncommon Hospitality. Influenced by the New England coast's climate and colors, the hotel features interiors that blend contemporary elements with traditional touches, offering turmeric-colored sofas, pale seafoam-green walls, black-and-white penny round flooring, and wide-plank oak floors. The property includes the Five of Clubs bar, Twinflower Cafe, Astraea spa with Scandinavian influences, and a communal lounge on the top floor.
