Populus to open carbon-positive hotel in Seattle

Tiny Pod to open pop-up hotel in MRT train carriage

🏨 Singapore's pop-up hotel and coliving brand, Tiny Pod, plans to open Train Pod @ one-north in 2025's second half, featuring eight ensuite rooms in a decommissioned MRT carriage. Orient Express opens its first hotel La Minerva in Rome

🏡 Orient Express opened its first hotel, La Minerva, in central Rome, located at Piazza della Minerva 69 near the Pantheon, in April 2025. Barclays backs Corinthia with £192 million loan

🏦 Barclays UK Corporate Bank agreed to a £192 million loan to Corinthia Hotels for its five-star London property, as part of a £205 million syndicated term loan. Corinthia London, in Westminster, has been with Barclays since 2009. The deal marks the largest hold by Barclays UK Corporate Bank in the hotel sector in 20 years, backed by their £22 billion Business Property Fund. Founded in 1962, Corinthia operates 12 properties, with eight under development in Rome, Bucharest, Riyadh, and Doha.

Hotel Monumenti set to open in Pula this May

🏖 In Pula, Croatia, Kermas Istria is opening Hotel Monumenti, a €85 million resort, featuring 58 rooms plus a new glass wing with 40 deluxe rooms and 8 suites. Plans submitted to convert Custom House into luxury hotel
