Room00 Next Gen Hospitality to Invest Up to €420m in Southern Europe and London Expansion by 2026

🏨 Room00 Next Gen Hospitality plans to invest €330m-€420m (£285m-£313.5m) in 2026 to expand in Southern Europe and London, after a €400m (£298m) funding round in 2025. They aim to add 20 properties with 1,421 rooms. London plans include €50m-€80m (£37m-£59m) for sites in Bloomsbury, Paddington, St Paul’s, and Victoria. €140m (£104.5m) is allocated for Italy, with additional investments in Lisbon, Porto, and Spanish cities. 80% of capital targets acquisitions and repositioning.

Virgin Limited Edition to Open 37-Suite Hotel Near Marrakech in 2027 Through Partnership with Sazanes Immobilier

BWH Hotels Announces Expansion in Africa with 25 New Projects in Morocco and 12 in Egypt

🏨 BWH Hotels aims to expand in Africa with new developments in Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Tanzania. The Future Hospitality Summit Africa will take place from March 31 to April 1, 2026. The group has signed over 25 pipeline properties in Morocco in the past year and has 12 projects in Egypt. In Nigeria, two hotels will open: Best Western Premier McDons Skye Hotel and Best Western Plus Ambience Hotel Ikeja. The expansion targets upscale and upper-midscale markets.

Corinthia Hotels to Open 150-Room Luxury Hotel and Residences in Chengdu, China by 2032 with RMB 4bn Investment

UK Hotel Occupancy Rises to 63.5% in January, While London Rates Remain Flat at 66.7%

The UK’s average daily rate for rooms increased from £122.24 to £124.48, and London’s from £172.62 to £177.91. RevPAR nationally grew from £76.72 to £79.03. Gross operating profits held at 18.8% in the UK and 23.9% in London. Energy efficiency improved by a third since the pandemic, but rising utility costs and geopolitical tensions pose risks.
