Hilton appoints new general manager of Diplomat Beach Resort

Accor launches first UK hotel under Emblems Collection brand

🏨 Accor launched the Emblems Collection in the UK by opening Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa in Wiltshire. Within 500 acres, it includes 42 rooms, 9 cottages, and two restaurants. The Emblems brand will expand with six new hotels by 2027, including Rimrock Banff in Canada and three Italian properties. Future locations include Elatos Resort in Greece and Bellevue Hotel in Italy. Accor aims for about 60 Emblems hotels globally within the next decade.

Radisson Blu opens first hotel in Florence

Pandox completes €1.7bn acquisition of Dalata Hotel Group

💰 Pandox AB completed a €1.7bn (£1.46bn) acquisition of Dalata Hotel Group, adding 31 hotels in the UK and Ireland. Scandic Hotels Group is set to acquire 56 hotel operations for €500m (£439m) in 2026. The deal, financed by DNB Carnegie and credit lines, includes 6,626 rooms in major cities like Dublin and London. The transaction value will reach €1.2bn (£1.05bn), with Pandox's portfolio rising to SEK 93bn (£7.4bn). Expected annual rental income increase: SEK 1.2bn (£960m).

Broadway Malyan begins second phase of Hotel Mundial refurb

Hyatt reports $49m Q3 net loss due to acquisition costs

🏨 Hyatt Hotels reported a $49m net loss in Q3 2025. Comparable RevPAR rose 0.3%, and net rooms grew 12.1%. Adjusted net loss was $29m, and adjusted EBITDA increased 5.6% to $291m. Gross fees rose 5.9% to $283m, and 5,163 rooms were opened, including Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and Hyatt Regency Times Square. Total debt was $6bn, liquidity $2.2bn. Net income forecast for 2025 is $70m to $86m, with a 6.3% to 7% net room growth.
