What’s behind the UK hotel investment boom?

Regions outside London experienced significant growth, with Scotland up 85% and the South West 360%. High operating costs influence financing strategies.

IHG reports steady RevPAR and stronger development pace in Q3

📈 IHG Group reported a 0.1% rise in RevPAR for Q3 ending September 30, 2025. Global RevPAR increased by 1.4% year-to-date. Regional RevPAR grew 0.8% in the Americas, 3.8% in EMEAA, but fell 2.6% in Greater China. Global rooms revenue rose 4%, despite a 2% dip in leisure and 4% in group bookings. IHG opened 99 hotels (14,500 rooms) and signed 170 hotels (22,600 rooms) this quarter. The company has completed $700m of its $900m share buyback program.

Daish’s Holidays sees 12% rise in winter bookings

Restaurant and hotel prices rise as inflation holds steady at 3.8%
