HotelREZ reports 18.6% revenue growth and expands luxury hotel segment

📈 HotelREZ Hotels and Resorts experienced an 18.6% revenue increase, with its independent hotel platform expanding to over 2,500 properties globally, representing 222,500 rooms. The global RevPAR improved by 9.8%, driven by ADR and occupancy gains. Around 56% of properties use the core service suite. The Elegant Hotel Collection now includes 350 luxury properties. The company maintains a portfolio retention rate over 90%. New leadership roles are added to support expansion across Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific.

121-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea brought to market

The Bedford Hotel Belfast appoints Ciaran O’Neill as managing director

Galgorm Castle submits plans for £14m restoration and hotel conversion

Horwood House Hotel partners with BBOWT to boost biodiversity

Hotel transactions in Europe climb to €27bn

💰 European hotel transaction volumes hit €27bn in 2025, with 1,050 properties sold, the strongest year since the pandemic. Transactions increased by 23% from 2024, and 28% above the 10-year average. The UK, Spain, and France contributed 49% of activities, totalling €13.4bn. Spain's volume rose by 52%. Key deals included Brookfield's €776m acquisition of Generator Hostels. The recovery is due to improved hotel performance and stable debt conditions, continuing into 2026.

Fairfield by Marriott Makes UK Debut at British Motor Museum

Kirklees’ George Hotel renovation enters next phase

Olivia Immesi to step down as chief executive of Native Places
