Balfour hotel reopens in Miami Beach, part of Morgans Originals

🏨 Balfour in Miami Beach reopened under Morgans Originals after a renovation by Bigtime Design Studios and Ennismore. Located on Ocean Drive, the 82-room art deco hotel features Cleo, an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, and SoFi Coffee, a café opening later this summer. Originally opened in 1940, the hotel retains its historical elements while adding modern touches. Amenities include a plunge pool, rooftop deck, and 2,000 sq. ft. of event space. Cleo offers family-style dishes and themed programming.

Marriott signs seven-hotel deal with India’s Ventive Hospitality

🏨 Marriott International and Ventive Hospitality plan to open seven hotels with 1,548 rooms across five brands by 2030. Locations include India and Sri Lanka, featuring a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Pottuvil with 73 villas and luxury amenities. The JW Marriott Navi Mumbai will offer 450 rooms, situated 10 km from the new airport. Varanasi Marriott Hotel will have 161 rooms, located near Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. Hilton tops 500 hotels across Florida

Hilton operates 17 brands statewide since entering Florida in 1982, driven by diverse travel demand and strategic opportunities.

Hilton debuts Canopy hotel in Cape Town

In time for The Open, the opening of The Marcus Portrush

Located on the North Atlantic coast, it aims to boost local tourism, creating over 40 jobs and generating £1.1 million in visitor spending. Nearby attractions include the Giant’s Causeway.

IHG gets EVEN at Orlando airport

🏨 EVEN Hotel Orlando International Airport opened near Orlando International Airport, located at 4315 McCoy Road. This is Florida's second EVEN Hotel opening in 2023, after the Miami – Doral Area location. Owned by Conway Wave LLC, the hotel offers a 24/7 athletic studio, in-room workouts, and a healthy dining option. Complimentary airport shuttle service is available. With this opening, EVEN Hotels now has 58 properties worldwide, with four more planned in Long Island, Troy, and Charlotte.

HHM Hotels restructures leadership in effort to supercharge growth

Marsha Ray is now EVP, head of Canadian operations. Ray Perez continues as EVP of operations. Raul Moronta joined as chief revenue officer in late 2024. This restructuring aims to enhance owner relations and operational excellence while preparing for future expansion.

Knigh Frank sells Hampshire country hotel to Heartwood Inns
