🏨 LyvInn hotels plans 14 new openings across the UK and Europe by 2029, following the success of its 164-room flagship in Frankfurt. The hotel, launched in May 2023, achieved a revenue generation index of 135 in 2025, 35% above competitors. Expansion targets include London, Dublin, Berlin, and Paris with mixed-use developments and conversions. 🏨 Cumberland Council approved a £12m Premier Inn project in Carlisle city center, set to open by the end of 2028. The 104-room hotel will generate an estimated £4m annually for the local economy, create 25 permanent jobs, and support 45 construction jobs. Construction begins in 2026, following planning condition fulfillment. The project revives a site where a historic hotel was demolished in 2020. Whitbread's redevelopment plans were revealed in May 2025.

🏨 Whitbread PLC has applied to the North Norfolk District Council to build an 81-bedroom Premier Inn in North Walsham, at a former Fruehof factory site. The £10m project includes 80 parking spaces and sustainable energy features. If approved, it will create 20 permanent jobs. North Walsham currently lacks branded hotels, with the nearest Premier Inns in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Whitbread aims to expand its Premier Inn rooms from 85,500 to 125,000 across the UK and Ireland.

🏨 IHG will open Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd’s Bush in 2026. Located in West London, the hotel will feature 231 rooms, including 'Signature Suites' and 'Garden Rooms'. The building, a former BBC Kensington House recording studio, is renovated with recycled materials. The hotel will offer co-working spaces and a spa with a holistic approach. Chef Sami Saygi will head the restaurant Flock. Partnerships with local producers will enhance the hotel's distinctly local offerings.
