Reuben Brothers to Convert W South Beach into Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach with Hilton, Opening in 2027
🏨 In 2024, Reuben Brothers acquired W South Beach for $400 million and announced a conversion to Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach, set to relaunch in winter 2027. Located on Collins Ave., the 20-story hotel will feature 348 renovated suites, a new lobby with Peacock Alley, and expanded amenities. Over 300 workers will be laid off in late August. The renovation faced local opposition but continues under Hilton's management deal, marking Waldorf Astoria's Miami debut.
