🏕 Under Canvas has launched the Outdoor Collection, featuring properties like The Fields of Michigan—a 30-acre site with a blueberry farm, guest tents, cottages, and a pool—and Bar N Ranch, a 200-acre property near Yellowstone with lodge rooms and cabins. The collection offers activities such as horseback riding, fly-fishing, and guided park tours. Hyatt members can access these locales through an exclusive alliance. CEO Matt Gaghen emphasized the focus on nature-based hospitality and plans to expand the collection to similar destinations.

Radici, meaning "Roots" in Italian, will launch its second venue at EpicCentral, after the original establishment debuted in Farmers Branch, Texas, last May. Foley enriches the dining experience with his artwork, reflecting his mother's Italian origins from Balvano. T2D Concepts also operates Roots Chicken Shak, Roots Southern Table, and the 'Shef Tiffany spice and apparel line.

🏠 Olympia Hospitality partners with Suburban Capital, expanding its portfolio with four properties in Norfolk to Virginia Beach, including Glass Light Hotel & Gallery, Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center, Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and Moxy Virginia Beach Oceanfront, totaling over 500 keys. The Glass Light Hotel features 113 rooms and 1,600 sq ft of meeting space. Moxy Virginia Beach Oceanfront offers 134 rooms, Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront adds 140 rooms with 726 sq ft of event space, and Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center contributes 127 rooms and more than 1,200 sq ft of meeting facilities.

🏠 TownePlace Suites by Marriott opened in Duluth, Minnesota, on March 27, 2025, marking Kinseth Hospitality Companies' second Duluth hotel and 10th TownePlace Suites. The ribbon-cutting involved the Duluth and Hermantown Chambers of Commerce. The new 100-suite extended-stay hotel features pet-friendly rooms, full kitchens, and amenities like free breakfast, an indoor pool, a fitness center, and laundry facilities.

🏦 Accor to open five new economy hotels in Germany by 2025 under Ibis brand family, including Ibis Styles, Ibis Budget. Ibis Styles Neckarsulm, now open with 97 rooms, offers family rooms, accessible rooms, and suites, plus a fitness space. At Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, two Ibis hotels with 114 rooms each will open in Spring 2025. Ibis Styles Hamburg HafenCity and adjacent Novotel, opening mid-2025, will offer 403 and 163 rooms, respectively. Ibis Styles Munich Airport, also opening mid-2025, features 358 rooms. A study by Accor found 88% of travelers want to reduce expenses, with 23% of Germans opting for cheaper accommodations.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation will open 14 new lifestyle hotels in EMEA by 2027. The expansion will increase Hyatt's lifestyle room count in the region by 36%, from over 7,400 to more than 10,000 rooms. Key projects include The Standard, Brussels, opening in Q2 2025 with 200 rooms, and Andaz Lisbon, expected in late 2025 with 170 rooms. This growth follows Hyatt's acquisition of Standard International and creation of a New York-based lifestyle division, led by Amar Lalvani. Marc Jacheet was appointed as the EMEA Group President, effective March 17, 2025.

🏨 Minor Hotels will introduce its NH Hotels & Resorts brand in Copenhagen on April 10th, 2025. The new hotel, located in the historical 1892 building of Vesterbro district, offers 162 rooms, a restaurant, two bars, a rooftop bar with city views, a gym, a yoga studio, and event rooms for business functions. Owned by CapMan, the expansion signifies Minor Hotels' growth in the Nordic region, complementing their NH Collection Copenhagen and NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa. NH Hotels & Resorts has over 215 hotels globally, with recent openings in Paris, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
