Radisson strengthens presence in Bergen with four new signings

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group partners with Magic Norway AS to open four new hotels in Bergen, Norway, introducing two new brands to the Nordic market. A total of 519 rooms will be added, with properties opening in the coming months. The Magic Kloverhuset Harbour Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, features 137 rooms and 20 apartments, while the Magic Hotel Bergen City Center offers 90 rooms. Prize by Radisson, Solheimsviken Bergen, with 217 rooms, and Prize by Radisson, Xhibition Bergen City, with 55 rooms, will launch later. These openings raise Radisson's Nordic portfolio to over 50 hotels.

Corinthia expands in the U.S. with Beverly Hills boutique hotels acquisition

🏦 Corinthia Group acquired Maison 140 Beverly Hills and the Mosaic Hotel, with a combined total of 100 rooms, in Beverly Hills, California. The transaction was conducted through a joint venture with Kuwait's Action Real Estate Company. The acquisition aims to enhance Corinthia's global market presence. The hotels will be managed by Palisociety and overseen by Corinthia's development arm for potential enhancements. This expansion into Beverly Hills follows Corinthia's partnership with Action Real Estate and its North American debut with The Surrey in New York.

Six Senses Comporta unveils plans for new resort, spa and residences

🏖 Opening in 2028, the Six Senses Comporta in Portugal features a 70-key hotel and 58 branded residences within a 400-hectare Pinheirinho estate. The resort will offer 66 deluxe rooms, suites, three garden villas, a presidential villa, and residences with two to five bedrooms. It includes a spa, wellness facilities, a Path of Life, and a children’s area. Dining venues will focus on local ingredients, and activities range from kitesurfing to golf. The project is a collaboration with VIC Properties, emphasizing sustainability and preserving the region's heritage. Six Senses Comporta joins IHG's Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, adding to IHG’s 24 open and 13 developing properties in Portugal.

(Update) Radisson to open hotel at Oxford United’s future stadium

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group plans to open a 180-room hotel within Oxford United Football Club's proposed new stadium in Kidlington, pending planning approval. Over half the rooms will offer pitch views. The development is expected to create nearly 1,000 jobs and will include sustainable features like solar panels and a low-carbon energy supply. The 16,000-seat stadium will be all-electric and one of the UK's most sustainable. Cycas Hospitality will manage the hotel, with a decision from Cherwell District Council expected soon.

Rains to manage Hilton Garden Inn Greenville

Radisson Blu debuts in Montpellier
