🏨 Extended Stay America opened its 20th Floridian property, Extended Stay America Premier Suites – Bradenton, marking the brand's continued growth. The four-story, 124-room hotel offers WiFi, a healthy breakfast, cable, a 24-hour fitness room, onsite guest laundry, and a lobby with additional vending options. Suites feature fully equipped kitchens and are designed for long-term business travelers and those needing temporary housing solutions. The Bradenton property is strategically located near several businesses, hospitals, academic institutions, and leisure destinations. Sandpiper Hospitality, which already developed a hotel in Sparks, Nevada, has added this property to their portfolio, aiming to serve the increasing number of travelers to the Bradenton-Sarasota market.

🏨 The Connally Hotel Downtown Atlanta, part of Choice Hotels International’s Ascend Hotel Collection, operated by StepStone Hospitality, just opened near attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park. COO Michael Broadhurst expressed excitement about the partnership and commitment to exceptional hospitality. Guests can join the Choice Privileges loyalty program, which boasts over 68 million members. The Ascend Hotel Collection includes more than 375 hotels and recently expanded with the 77-key Mayfair Hotel in New York City’s Theatre District in late 2023.

🏡 IHG Hotels & Resorts added Hotel Spero to its Vignette Collection in San Francisco, near Union Square and the Theater District. The West Coast's first Vignette Collection hotel, built in 1924, features 236 guestrooms, 23 suites, and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Hotel Spero offers unique guest experiences like postcard messages of hope and participates in the GLIDE Daily Free Meals Program, supporting local non-profits and promoting sustainability with eco-friendly practices. Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen, the on-site restaurant, is undergoing renovations. Hotel Spero also includes 3,000 square feet of event space, a co-working area, pet-friendly services, and a 24-hour fitness center. Vignette Collection aims for 100 hotels in 10 years, debuting in the Americas in early 2023 with Yours Truly DC in Washington, D.C., and planning openings in Peru, Mexico, and Oregon.

🏠 The Canal House of Georgetown, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is opening in Georgetown this month at 1023 31st Street NW. It features 92 guest rooms, 10 suites, 3 terrace rooms, and 2 townhouses, with room sizes from 326 to 846 square feet. Amenities include a library lounge, private courtyard, lobby, C&O Lounge restaurant, and fitness center. The hotel joins Marriott Bonvoy and is part of over 125 Tribute Portfolio hotels across approximately 30 countries. General Manager Mark Namdar emphasizes the hotel's integration with Georgetown's charm and history.

🏡 Vision Hospitality Group unveiled The Inn at Celebration, part of Autograph Collection Hotels, after a multimillion-dollar renovation, with a grand opening on February 6th at 4:30 pm. The boutique hotel in Celebration, near Orlando, features 115 rooms, 23 suites, and 65 rooms with lake views. The renovation includes a redesigned lobby, the Lakeside Kitchen & Bar, an expanded outdoor lounge, and enhanced event spaces totaling 7,500 square feet. The property, formerly known as Celebration Hotel, was renamed in November 2024 and is committed to community and sustainability initiatives. Guests can use Marriott Bonvoy® benefits when staying at the hotel.

🏖 Brittain Resorts & Hotels, in partnership with EOS Hospitality, invested over $58 million in renovations at Caribbean Resort & Villas, Ocean Reef Resort, and Compass Cove Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Caribbean Resort & Villas underwent a $20 million renovation, Ocean Reef Resort a $15 million upgrade, and Compass Cove Resort received the largest investment of over $23 million. The company manages 30 hotels and over 40 restaurants and bars, with a total of more than 4,700 rooms, suites, and condos. Renovations started in October 2024 and will conclude by April 2025, with resorts operational throughout the process.

🏕️ Field & Stream Lodge Co. is set to open its first hotel, Field & Stream Bozeman, in Bozeman, Mont. in May. Located a mile from downtown, the lodge offers proximity to Bridger Bowl, Big Sky Resort, Yellowstone National Park, and three rivers. It features 179 rooms, including Mountain Kings and Bunk Rooms, a 29,000-square-foot outdoor area, an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and 3,800 square feet of meeting space. The lodge aims to blend outdoor tradition with modern amenities.

🏖 Regent Hotels & Resorts expands with the Regent Bali Canggu in Indonesia, its first since IHG acquired the brand in 2018. The beachfront resort boasts 150 suites and villas, five dining venues, a spa, nine pools, and a Regent Club. Designed by WATG, featuring interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates and gardens by John Pettigrew, it integrates Balinese elements into its luxury experience. The Regent Spa & Wellness, set to open later this year, will be the brand's first. The resort aims to provide personalized services and exclusive amenities. Regent plans to add 12 properties in five years, with future locations in Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur.

🔄 Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) reopened The View, a revolving restaurant located on the 47th and 48th floors of the New York City Marriott Marquis, on a Wednesday. The restaurant, which originally opened in 1985 and closed five years ago, offers live music, skyline views, and has been renovated by Rockwell Group. Executive Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley and Beverage Director Ricky Dolinsky updated the culinary and beverage programs. The bar completes a 360-degree rotation every 45 minutes, while the dining room spins once per hour. Located at 1535 Broadway, The View features a menu with classics like tuna carpaccio and seared duck breast, as well as exclusive cocktails in collaboration with Katz’s Delicatessen and Magnolia Bakery.
