🏖 Rosewood Hotels & Resorts launched Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan, presenting 55 rooms and four dining options, including NAGI and MAAS restaurants. The resort highlights Ryukyu culture with local materials like Ryukyu limestone and offers an infinity pool, Asaya Spa treatments, and martial arts lessons. Studio Piet Boon designed the property, emphasizing harmony with the local environment. Later in 2025, CHOMA restaurant will open, serving traditional Japanese cuisine. Families can engage in Rose Buds and Rosewood Explorers programs for cultural activities.

🎭 Fritz’s Adventure is set to open its new location in The Colony, Texas, on April 2, replicating its Branson, Mo. site, which has been operational for nine years. The indoor and outdoor entertainment venue spans over 100,000 square feet, featuring a zipline course, ropes course, climbing walls, treehouses, slides, and tunnels. Park entry varies between $19-$25, with food items like pizza and sandwiches priced up to $20.99. The original Fritz’s Adventure opened in 2016 and the new site continues the spirit of adventure and family fun.

🏦 The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Madrid, reopened after a two-year restoration, transitioning from its previous identity as The Westin Palace. Located in the UNESCO-listed Paisaje de la Luz, near cultural attractions like the Prado Museum, it offers 470 redesigned guestrooms. Ruiz Larrea Arquitectura restored the hotel’s 1912 façade and features like the stained glass dome. The interior, by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, nods to guests like Picasso and Hemingway, with elements such as hand-painted wallpapers and bathroom mosaics inspired by local landmarks. La Cúpula restaurant and 27 Club bar add to the guest experience with curated art, historical elements, and signature dishes.

🏖 The Cove Eleuthera in the Bahamas, owned by Tanzerra Resorts, completed a full-property renovation in late 2024. The final Phase III included updates to the infinity pool terrace, dining and lounge areas, a fire pit, beachfront furnishings, landscaping, and pathways. Two new communal areas were introduced: a library and an entry pergola. BAR Architects & Interiors led the renovation, with the resort now encompassing 40 acres and offering 22 rooms, between two private beach coves, all emphasizing tranquility and island living.

🏡 The InterContinental Indianapolis, a luxury hotel, opened downtown near Monument Circle and the Indiana State Capitol at 17 West Market Street, following a $120-million renovation of the historic Illinois Building. It offers 170 guest rooms and suites with amenities like 300-thread count linens and Black Label BeautyRest mattresses; some include soaking tubs and city skyline views. The hotel's unique Penthouse Suite boasts floor-to-ceiling views. Onsite dining options are provided by award-winning Chef Craig Baker, including The Astrea Rooftop Bar and Serliana. More than 5,000 square feet of event space is available, with a 2,500-square-foot ballroom. A 24-hour fitness center and concierge service enhance the guest experience, with proximity to attractions like Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Zoo.

🏡 The Hoxton, Florence opened in the city's historic center, succeeding The Hoxton, Rome as the brand's second hotel in Italy. It offers 161 rooms in a 16th-century renaissance palazzo and a 1980s building by Andrea Branzi. The hotel features the Italian restaurant Alassio, the wine bar Enoteca Violetta, a courtyard, event spaces, and a three-bedroom apartment category called House. Original renaissance elements were preserved by Aime Studios, alongside modern designs and Italian craftsmanship. Alassio's menu ranges from necci chestnut pancakes to girella ravioli, while Enoteca Violetta serves international wines and Italian snacks. Guests have complimentary access to Sergio Bianchi bikes and discounts at local fitness centers. The hotel also collaborates with local businesses for guest amenities and showcases emerging artists.

🏠 Claudie, a restaurant inspired by the French Riviera, opened on February 7 in Miami's Brickell neighborhood. The establishment is part of Riviera Dining Group, which also owns Mila, the second highest-grossing independent restaurant last year, and Casa Neos. Claudie's design includes a 2,470-square-foot terrace seating 104 guests and an interior of over 2,400 square feet seating 134. The menu features French Riviera cuisine, with an executive team from the South of France. Riviera Dining Group plans to expand with Noora, a new rooftop restaurant slated to open later this year, and additional projects in Miami and global markets within the next two years.

🏛 The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) added 10 new luxury properties, including beachfront resorts, alpine retreats, and city hotels in the Caribbean and Europe. Notable additions: The Strand in Turks and Caicos with sustainable luxury; Hotel AWA in Chile with a wellness spa; Beach Club at The Boca Raton in Florida, USA with exclusive amenities; Capo d’Orso Thalasso & Spa in Italy offering yacht excursions; Villars Palace in Switzerland with Michelin-quality dining; and Anthology of Athens in Greece with modern Greek cuisine. Guests can avail benefits through LHW's Leaders Club loyalty program.

🏖️ IHG Hotels & Resorts reopened Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella after a renovation, originally opened in 1962 as Spain's first hotel with a Michelin Star. The resort, situated near the Mediterranean, showcases 195 rooms with 60 suites, some with private terraces and sea views. Barcelona-based El Equipo Creativo and Cristina Carulla Studio handled the redesign and guestroom design, respectively. The venue offers dining experiences by Michelin-starred chef José Carlos García, a spa with hydrotherapy, fitness sessions, and access to golf courses. Event spaces include a grand ballroom for 250 guests, a rooftop venue, and a beach club.
