Rosewood Hotels & Resorts opens its first hotel in Japan

🏖 Rosewood Hotels & Resorts launched Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan, presenting 55 rooms and four dining options, including NAGI and MAAS restaurants. The resort highlights Ryukyu culture with local materials like Ryukyu limestone and offers an infinity pool, Asaya Spa treatments, and martial arts lessons. Studio Piet Boon designed the property, emphasizing harmony with the local environment. Later in 2025, CHOMA restaurant will open, serving traditional Japanese cuisine. Families can engage in Rose Buds and Rosewood Explorers programs for cultural activities.

Fritz’s Adventure plans a location in The Colony, Texas

Park entry varies between $19-$25, with food items like pizza and sandwiches priced up to $20.99. The original Fritz’s Adventure opened in 2016 and the new site continues the spirit of adventure and family fun.

Madrid’s The Westin Palace reopens under Marriott’s Luxury Collection

Bahama’s The Cove Eleuthera completes renovation

🏖 The Cove Eleuthera in the Bahamas, owned by Tanzerra Resorts, completed a full-property renovation in late 2024. The final Phase III included updates to the infinity pool terrace, dining and lounge areas, a fire pit, beachfront furnishings, landscaping, and pathways. Two new communal areas were introduced: a library and an entry pergola. BAR Architects & Interiors led the renovation, with the resort now encompassing 40 acres and offering 22 rooms, between two private beach coves, all emphasizing tranquility and island living.

InterContinental Indianapolis opens in historic Illinois Building

The Hoxton, Florence opens in Italy joining Rome property

🏡 The Hoxton, Florence opened in the city's historic center, succeeding The Hoxton, Rome as the brand's second hotel in Italy. It offers 161 rooms in a 16th-century renaissance palazzo and a 1980s building by Andrea Branzi. The hotel features the Italian restaurant Alassio, the wine bar Enoteca Violetta, a courtyard, event spaces, and a three-bedroom apartment category called House. Original renaissance elements were preserved by Aime Studios, alongside modern designs and Italian craftsmanship. Alassio's menu ranges from necci chestnut pancakes to girella ravioli, while Enoteca Violetta serves international wines and Italian snacks. Guests have complimentary access to Sergio Bianchi bikes and discounts at local fitness centers. The hotel also collaborates with local businesses for guest amenities and showcases emerging artists.

The team behind high-earning Mila just opened Claudie, a French Mediterranean restaurant in Miami

🏠 Claudie, a restaurant inspired by the French Riviera, opened on February 7 in Miami's Brickell neighborhood. The establishment is part of Riviera Dining Group, which also owns Mila, the second highest-grossing independent restaurant last year, and Casa Neos. Claudie's design includes a 2,470-square-foot terrace seating 104 guests and an interior of over 2,400 square feet seating 134. The menu features French Riviera cuisine, with an executive team from the South of France. Riviera Dining Group plans to expand with Noora, a new rooftop restaurant slated to open later this year, and additional projects in Miami and global markets within the next two years.

Hotel Los Monteros Marbella reopens under IHG’s Kimpton brand
