🏢 Newport's new luxury hotel, Island House Newport, opens on March 13, developed by Marshall Properties and operated by Main Street Hospitality. It's located near beaches, Bellevue Avenue, the harbor, and the Cliff Walk, offering suites with customizable layouts for different travelers. Main Street Hospitality, established in 2014, has a portfolio including The Red Lion Inn and more, with General Manager Taylor Lesandrini leading Island House Newport, now open for reservations.

🏕 Nardo and Luis, highline enthusiasts, launched OVO Patagonia after a three-year effort involving architects, engineers, and mountain experts. Four 200-square-foot pods, constructed in Buenos Aires, were transported 1,400 miles to their cliffside location. The installation included a three-stage elevator system for transferring the pods, capable of operating in 10ºF temperatures and 70 mph winds. The pods' safety system boasts two tensile structures with 9 anchor points each, tested to 35 tons, ensuring a 126× safety margin.

🏨 In Paris, Texas, a new dual-branded hotel with 51-suite TownePlace Suites and 62-suite Fairfield Inn & Suites has opened, managed by Peachtree Group for TEKMAK Development Company. The property features a full bar, outdoor pool, fitness center, complimentary breakfast, and 535 square feet of meeting space. It's near major airports like Dallas/Fort Worth International. Peachtree's portfolio includes 107 hotels across 27 brands in 26 states, with 33 under third-party management.

🏡 Houston's historic Scanlan Building, dating back to 1909 and boasting 87,000 square feet, will become a 140-room Canopy by Hilton hotel, expected to open in summer 2027. Frontera Hotel Group, in partnership with real estate firm SLTX Capital, will manage the hotel, incorporating features like a restaurant, bar, rooftop garden, and fitness center. The redevelopment is set to honor Houston’s heritage while enhancing the Main Street Promenade area.

🏖️ Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's first Caribbean resort, Mandarin Oriental Residences, Grand Cayman, broke ground earlier this month and is expected to be completed by early 2028. Developed by Melkonian Capital Management and RAL Companies, this ultra-luxury project includes a 91-key resort and 42 residences priced at $6 million each. Over 40% of the residences were sold through word of mouth before the public sales launch. Set on 70 acres with 2,700 feet of oceanfront, the residences offer ocean views, private terraces, and access to amenities like a spa and infinity pools. The group operates 41 hotels, 12 residences, and 26 homes in 26 countries.

🏖 TROBBU Boutique Collection launched TROBBU Tulum, a private villa retreat in Mexico's Tulum, offering 10 three-bedroom villas with infinity pools and butler service.
