Pachamama Group to launch Mediterranean restaurant in Chelsea

🍽 Pachamama Group to expand with Zēphyr, a Mediterranean restaurant in Chelsea, following the eight-year run of Chicama. Original chef Adam Rawson and Greek executive chef Tzoulio Loulai collaborate on a 'produce-led' menu featuring Greek salad, day-boat fish, UK ex-dairy ribeyes, and cep mushroom pastichio. Interior inspired by wabi-sabi with European elegance. Launching in early November, Zēphyr marks the group's fourth London venue since its 2014 debut.

Fables & Company to open third site in Borough Yards on 5th November

🍷 Fables & Company, known for Plume in Covent Garden and Finch in Brixton, is opening its third venue, Quill, in Borough Yards this November. Founder Andrew Gray aims to make wine bars more approachable with a focus on storytelling. Quill occupies a 2000 square foot space, hosting 75 covers, and features an English garden and an eccentric wine cellar interior. Culinary Innovator Rob Wade, previously of Chez Bruce, Soho House Group, and La Truffiere in Paris, has crafted a menu highlighting British cuisine. The bar's design, by Sophie Bickness of Studio Bare, combines the historic with the contemporary. Activities such as 'Secret Notes', 'Tarot Readings', and traditional games nights will continue. Quill is part of a surge of new openings in Borough Market, joining established venues like Cahoots and Angry Crab Shack. Fables & Company formerly operated as Grays and Feather for 14 years before the new launch.

SLS BARCELONA TO OPEN ITS DOORS THIS WINTER

🏖 SLS Hotels & Residences debuts in Europe with SLS Barcelona this autumn, offering 471 rooms and suites, six dining concepts, three pools, a spa, and an 800 m² ballroom. Located at Port Fòrum, Barcelona, it's within walking distance to local beaches and Parc del Fòrum. Guests can enjoy a 50% discount through Dis-loyalty membership for stays from 16 December 2024 to 28 April 2025. The grand opening is set for early next year.

IHG Hotels & Resorts surpasses 200 open hotels across its Northern Europe market

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts surpassed 200 open hotels in Northern Europe as of 24 September 2024, introducing brands in Germany, Hungary, Sweden, and Poland. Germany anticipates the debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Garner in late 2024, and Candlewood Suites in early 2025. Hungary opened its first Kimpton and Vignette Collection hotels, and Sweden welcomed voco Stockholm. Poland plans to open Holiday Inn Express Lublin by end of 2024 and voco Katowice in 2025. In total, IHG has 197 operating properties and 169 in development across 13 Northern Europe countries.

Delamina duo to launch Covent Garden restaurant

🍴 Limor and Amir Chen to open Delamina Townhouse, a 110-cover Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, on 28 October in Covent Garden’s Tavistock Street, London. The Chens, also founders of the Apostrophe bakery chain, launched Delamina in 2018. The new venue will feature a health-conscious menu with grilling, roasting, and Eastern Mediterranean spices, alongside classic and new dishes. Set in a Georgian townhouse, the restaurant offers a dining bar, fireplaces, private dining, and a terrace.

Salsa brand Conchita’s to open taco and burrito bar in Selfridges

Mexico Ceaty, a multi-concept culinary destination, is coming to San Antonio’s River Walk

🌮 Jason Dady, a chef with over 20 years in San Antonio's dining scene, is set to open Mexico Ceaty, an Eataly-like immersive dining, shopping, and entertainment venue, early 2025 in the Shops at Rivercenter, San Antonio River Walk. The project, in partnership with Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation, will overhaul a 21,000-square-foot space. Mexico Ceaty will feature a variety of new bar and restaurant concepts, including Tres Arcos, Dos Cantinas, El Ultimo, and Dulce Aroma, along with food stands and a marketplace named Mercado. The venue aims to capture part of the Rivercenter's 12 million annual visitors.
