After we published our OTAs of the World infographic and dataset, the result of many hours of research, verification, and data cleanup.

Then something unexpected happened.

A remix of the 50 Top OTAs of the world chart in Mondrain painting style.
A remix of the 50 Top OTAs of the world chart in Van Gogh painting style.
The galaxies of OTAs and their sizes.
K-pop version the top OTAs of the world chart
Where hotel photos are most seen? That could answer this.
A remix of the 50 OTAs of the world, for the World Cup.
Remixed as cubes. Which OTAs are the largest.
Remix of the 50 OTAs of the world in pixel art.
One of the original remixes of the 50 OTAs of the world chart.
A remix of the chart comparing the OTAs with the Hotel chains by Zhivko IvanovZhivko Ivanov
One of the early OTAs of the world chart remixes with beautiful gradients.

The infographic started showing up again and again across LinkedIn, but not as simple reposts. Instead, people began remixing it. New color palettes, new layouts, new shapes, new visual hierarchies, and even alternative ways of grouping and presenting the same market.

At first, it was a little surreal to see that work reused without always being credited. But very quickly, the feeling shifted into something better: excitement.

Because this is exactly what we want 10 Minutes Hotels to spark. Not just content consumption, but contribution. A dataset should not be a static asset. It should be something the industry can play with, challenge, rebuild, and improve.

So we turned this into the Top OTA List open remix project.

If you’ve created your own version, post it on LinkedIn and tag 10 Minutes Hotels. We’ll add it to our growing gallery of remixes, and we’ll do our best to link back to the original creators wherever possible, so the credit goes where it should.

If you haven’t seen the original infographic yet, start here: Complete OTAs List

And to explore the latest remixes, see the gallery below.

We’re genuinely impressed by the creativity coming out of this, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
