🏨 Frédéric Merlin, after acquiring BHV Paris, lost his buyer, Caisse des Dépôts, by continuing to sell Shein products, resulting in a multi-million euro fallback deal with Brookfield Asset Management. Brookfield, represented by Vincent Kerboull in France, bought BHV for €300 million. The deal includes transforming the top floors into a luxury hotel managed by Experimental Group, featuring a chic-and-fun concept, near Le Grand Mazarin and another Experimental hotel in the Marais district.

For its 65th anniversary, Four Seasons opts for a decisive leap forward

France emerges as one of the three markets driving CapitaLand’s growth, alongside Japan and Australia

📈 CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) manages assets worth €6 billion with 103 properties in 45 cities across 16 countries. Despite a highly disrupted environment, the British group Travelodge navigates through 2025 with measured growth

From Small Alliance to Global Powerhouse: GHA Generates Billions in Revenue for Its Member Hotel Groups

Growth is expected in 2026, driven by younger travelers.

Covivio acquires a hotel under construction in Porto, leased to Meininger

📅 Covivio strengthens its Southern Europe presence by acquiring a Meininger hotel in Porto, Portugal, for €31.6 million from Eiffage Immobilier. The hotel will feature 228 rooms, totaling 834 beds over 9,150 sq m. Construction begins first quarter 2026, with opening second half 2028. Meininger signs a 20-year lease for this Bonfim district hotel, near Campanhã terminal. This marks Covivio's fourth Meininger property, joining locations in Paris, Lyon, and Munich.
