Marriott Partners with Catalonia Hotels to Open All-Inclusive Resorts in Jamaica and Zanzibar by 2028

🏨 Marriott International partners with Catalonia Hotels to open resorts in Montego Bay and Zanzibar. The deal was signed in Barcelona on July 22, with plans to convert Catalonia Montego Bay into a 522-room Marriott by 2028. A 271-room Autograph Collection will open in Zanzibar by 2027. Marriott operates 38 all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Latin America, with 16 more in development. Marriott Bonvoy has nearly 283 million members.

Starhotels Reports 8.7% Revenue Increase to €340m in 2025, Driven by International Demand and Acquisitions

Haven Opens £12 Million Lost Lagoon Waterpark at Kent Coast, Part of £50 Million Investment Initiative

🏊 Haven opened a £12m Lost Lagoon waterpark at its Kent Coast site near Rochester, part of a £50m investment. The opening was led by Joe Swash with local schoolchildren in attendance. The waterpark features four pool zones and a waterslide and is powered by high-temperature heat pumps for improved energy efficiency. Haven has invested over £700m since 2021. In 2025, the site welcomed 98,000 guests and employed over 400 workers during peak season.
