💡 Studio Paolo Ferrari's Peridot bar, located on the 38th floor of Hong Kong's The Henderson, features over 20,000 lights across lime-green interiors. Completed in 2024, it serves plant-based cocktails and showcases "timeless futurism" with green marble and reflective surfaces. The Henderson, built on a $3 billion site, is the world's most expensive, inspired by a Bauhinia bud. The intimate bar also includes a hidden lounge for private events, echoing Hong Kong's energy and elegance.

Ste Marie Designs Over 100,000 Sq Ft of Mid-Century Inspired Interiors in Renovated Chicago Office Tower

The 32-storey building, originally the Illinois Bell Telephone headquarters, now features over 100,000 square feet of amenity spaces. Highlights include a 200-seat bistro, lounges, co-working areas, sports courts, and the Clubhouse. Mid-century modern design elements, such as reflective metals and custom artwork, are used throughout, emphasizing hospitality and corporate culture revival.

Stainless-steel desks and shelves provide contrast, while decor includes a 17th-century Venetian painting, Victorian mirror, and Josef Hoffman's chair. Founded in 2019, Mouthwash Studio has offices in Los Angeles and collaborated on LA’s Mexican restaurant.

Designed by Of Enso with Yuria Kailich and Joel Harding, it features stained wood and stainless steel interiors. The space offers removable wood benches, a concrete bar, terracotta flooring, and hosts vinyl DJs twice weekly using the One-A-Way sound system. Lighting crafted from deadstock fabrics enhances ambiance.

Charlap Hyman & Herrero converts factory into cavernous Pocketbook Hudson hotel

🏨 Charlap Hyman & Herrero transformed an 1883 pocketbook factory in Hudson, New York, into Pocketbook Hudson Hotel. The redesign began in 2022 and took four years, keeping the building's industrial features. The hotel includes artist commissions, a restaurant named Ambos, a nightclub, and a design space. Guest rooms feature stainless-steel bathtubs. A wellness facility is set to open in Spring 2026. The project partners include Nancy Kim and Gabriel Katz. Hudson's interest surged post-Covid-19.
