🏨 Vertiq Hospitality Partners, based in Amsterdam and London, manages over 35 hotels with 6,000 keys in eight European countries. The rebrand integrates Vertiq Capital's investment expertise with Cycas’s operations, covering the full hotel value chain. Highlights include Bankside Hotel, London (161 rooms) and 25hours Hotel, Paris (237 rooms). By 2026, 400 more rooms will be added in the UK and France. The strategy focuses on flexible asset management and owner alignment for better returns.

🏨 2027: Mövenpick El Gouna will transform into Sofitel El Gouna Resort through a management contract and phased renovations. The resort, located on a Red Sea peninsula, will feature 420 rooms, multiple restaurants, wellness facilities, and event spaces. Signed with Orascom Development Egypt, this project solidifies Sofitel's presence in Egypt, a market it has been part of for over 40 years. El Gouna, developed over 35 years, boasts 9,200 residences, 18 hotels, and more.

🏨 Hilton is expanding its Tapestry Collection in Malaga, Spain, with a new hotel scheduled for a 2027 opening on Avenida Juan XXIII. The hotel will feature 139 rooms, a rooftop pool and bar, and include Andalusian design elements and solar panels. It will be the third Tapestry property in Spain, after Atocha Hotel Madrid (46 rooms) and Via Sants Hotel Barcelona (50 rooms). Developed by Continuum Hospitality, this project fits EXTENDAM's partnership-led strategy in Spain.

🏖️ Orient Express Venezia opens in Cannaregio, Venice, at Palazzo Donà Giovannelli, a 1436-built residence. The 8-year restoration, led by Aline Asmar d’Amman, retains neo-Gothic and Baroque elements, featuring 47 rooms, suites, and residences. The culinary program is directed by three-Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck. This marks Orient Express’s second Italian hotel, supported by Accor since 2022, and aligns with LVMH partnership in 2024 for a luxury platform expansion.
