🏨 Dun Aluinn, originally built in 1909, opens this month as a fully staffed luxury hotel in the Scottish Highlands. The nine-bedroom estate, located in Aberfeldy overlooking the Tay Valley, features rooms with expansive valley views. Designed by Susie Whyte, spaces include a dining area for 20 guests, two lounges, and a private cinema room. Restorations were done by local artisans, preserving historic details with materials like wood from an antique church pew.

🏨 Hotel Viking in Newport, Rhode Island, reopens in May, marking its 100th anniversary with a multimillion-dollar renovation led by KHP Capital Partners. The hotel features 208 rooms, a historic 1926 room key cabinet, and a local art collaboration. Chef Robert Andreozzi leads the food program with venues like Pescadou and Cap Club. Amenities include Spa Fjör and over 13,000 sq ft of event space. Kay Chapel, dating back to 1859, hosts up to 200 guests.

🍴 Rüya Istanbul has launched at Çırağan Palace Kempinski, Istanbul, reconnecting its Anatolian culinary roots after successes in Dubai, Cannes, and Riyadh. Conran & Partners designed the interior, merging Eastern and Western influences, with Byzantine architecture inspirations. Notable features include custom pendant lights, Seljuk Star partitions, and turquoise tables, culminating in a terrace overlooking the palace gardens. The design narrates a rich cultural heritage, blending traditional Turkish elements with modern aesthetics.

🍴 Led by chef Stamatis Skriapas, Onuki opened at Ilisian in Athens, originally from Costa Navarino. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, it features a dynamic light and shadow play, with geometric lighting, rich dark-wood, and Japanese craftsmanship motifs. The poolside terrace has a sushi bar and a painting by Sofia Stevi. The interior combines Japanese and Greek aesthetics. Upper-level dining offers privacy with shoji-inspired panels by artist Katerina Charou, accommodating both private and larger gatherings.

🏌️ Stableford, a new private golf and lifestyle club, is set to open in West Los Angeles later this year. Designed by Mazzarini & Co., the 13,000-square-foot clubhouse emphasizes modern design, privacy, and quality experiences. It features eight TrackMan simulator lounges, a PuttView-powered putting experience, wellness suites, and social spaces. Founding memberships are available by invitation. The club aims to integrate golf into daily routines, offering both recreation and relaxation in a timeless setting.

🏥 Hong Kong, Sha Tin Racecourse—Joyce Wang Studio unveils Genso, a two-floor immersive dining and entertainment spot. Fudo Town Food Hall on the lower floor offers Japanese street food in a setting inspired by Tokyo's Golden Gai. The upper level, Izakaya, features neon-clad islands and overlooks live horse racing. Interior draws from "Blade Runner" with teal, orange hues, and manga themes. Collaborating with Foreign Policy, they crafted unique wallcoverings and ceramic tiles celebrating manga culture.

🏡 Scheduled for 2028, Six Senses Residences Belize will introduce 16 overwater residences and 40 bungalow suites on Emerald Caye near Ambergris Caye. Residential prices start at $3.75 million, with designs by Studio CABAN offering 4,387 to 7,891 sq ft layouts. Amenities include restaurants, a spa, and a yoga pavilion, integrating traditional Mayan practices. Each villa includes a pool and wellness features, with furnishing by Maed Collective and Huber Design Studio.

🏘 French hospitality brand Sofitel is launching its first branded residence in the Americas, Sofitel Residences Buenos Aires Madero, in collaboration with NorthBaires. Set for completion in 2030, the 43-floor complex in Puerto Madero will feature 188 apartments and 343 parking spaces. Designed by BMA with input from Cristián Mohaded, the project enhances Sofitel’s regional presence, accompanying its existing properties in Argentina and Uruguay.

🍴 Design and architecture studio 22RE launched Bar di Bello, a 2,000 sq. ft. eatery in Los Angeles' Silver Lake, showcasing northern Italian-inspired cuisine. The interior features a red travertine bar, walnut and aluminum accents, and a custom-designed ceiling. Italian modernist influences are evident in the furnishings. Landscape architect Sarita Jaccard plans to open the outdoor space this summer, enhancing the European café vibe.
