📈 Corinthia Hotels has appointed Peter Roth as President of Hotel Operations. Roth, based in London, will manage operations for Corinthia's current hotels and upcoming openings in Italy, Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, the Maldives, and Chengdu. He reports to Simon Naudi, CEO. With over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience, Roth previously worked at Jumeirah and spent 15 years with Hyatt. This role focuses on service standards and profitability.

🏨 Omni Hotels & Resorts appointed Fernando Gibaja as general manager of Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita, Mexico, set to open in spring 2027. With 30+ years of global luxury hotel experience, Gibaja previously managed The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. The resort will feature 202 guest rooms, 42 suites, two villas, a luxury spa, five ocean-view restaurants, five pools, and over 27,000 sq ft of event space.

🏨 Capella Hotel Group appointed Feisal Jaffer as chief development officer to lead global expansion of Capella and Patina brands. Jaffer previously led development projects at Pontiac Land Group, including the Maldives and Sydney. At Hilton, he expanded LXR Hotels from 1 to over 40 properties. With nearly three decades of experience, Jaffer has closed over $2.5 billion in transactions. Capella aims to double its portfolio by 2030, with upcoming openings in Nanjing, Riyadh, and Florence.

🏨 Hotel Heron in Alexandria, VA, announces Peter Triolo as general manager and Matt Talley as director of lifestyle. Triolo, with over 20 years in hospitality, has experience with Four Seasons and was integral in opening Archer Hotel Napa. Talley, with 15 years in brand management, has worked with Netflix and Bacardi. The 134-room hotel, in Old Town, offers three dining venues: KILN, Francis Hall, and Good Fortune. Lang's background includes leadership roles at New Waterloo, The LINE Austin, Sydell Group, SBE Hotel Group, and OLS Hotels & Resorts. First Hospitality, a development and management firm, operates properties across the U.S., emphasizing brand standards and company growth.

🏠 Jacco van Teeffelen has been appointed as managing director of The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa. With over 15 years of experience at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, including his role as general manager of Fairmont Mayakoba, he brings extensive expertise. The resort, established in 1776 and recently renovated with a $180 million investment, is located in Virginia's Allegheny Mountains. It offers 483 rooms, 76,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, and numerous amenities, including two golf courses.
