🏘 French hospitality brand Sofitel is launching its first branded residence in the Americas, Sofitel Residences Buenos Aires Madero, in collaboration with NorthBaires. Set for completion in 2030, the 43-floor complex in Puerto Madero will feature 188 apartments and 343 parking spaces. Designed by BMA with input from Cristián Mohaded, the project enhances Sofitel’s regional presence, accompanying its existing properties in Argentina and Uruguay.

🍴 Design and architecture studio 22RE launched Bar di Bello, a 2,000 sq. ft. eatery in Los Angeles' Silver Lake, showcasing northern Italian-inspired cuisine. The interior features a red travertine bar, walnut and aluminum accents, and a custom-designed ceiling. Italian modernist influences are evident in the furnishings. Landscape architect Sarita Jaccard plans to open the outdoor space this summer, enhancing the European café vibe.

📍 Namron Hospitality launches the William in New York, expanding its U.S. portfolio post two Miami properties. The boutique hotel, near Bryant Park, is in a renovated six-story building of two Beaux Arts brownstones. Originally a 1920s social club, it now has 33 vibrant art-themed suites, including a penthouse with Manhattan skyline views. Raines Law Room, on the ground floor, offers craft cocktails in an intimate setting.

🏨 In an exciting move, WorldHotels partners with De Historiske, integrating 25 of Norway's unique properties into the WorldHotels™ Crafted collection. This collaboration, announced by Ron Pohl, President of WorldHotels, expands their Scandinavian portfolio to 37 hotels, enhancing their presence in Norway with diverse destinations including fjords and historic cities. Notable additions include Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri and Kviknes Hotel. Johan Michelson, CEO of BWH Hotels Scandinavia, highlights this as a strategic step to enrich hospitality and attract global travelers.

🛠 Sleep Inn® by Choice Hotels opened its first four new properties under the Scenic Dreams® prototype in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. The Ashland City, TN location debuted in September 2025 with 52 rooms. The Middletown, PA property opened in March 2026. Hotels with the new design see a RevPAR premium of +1.71 and an LTR of 8.36 in 2025, a 0.25-point year-on-year increase. Scenic Dreams emphasizes nature-inspired design and operational efficiency.

🏨 In Honolulu, Hawaii, Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach completed a renovation of its property, including updated guestrooms and an 850 sq ft penthouse. Led by design firm //3877, the project introduced a new open-air lobby, dining options like Aloha Amigo and Peppermint Café & Pool Bar, and enhanced amenities such as a mini golf course and a saltwater pool. The hotel’s culinary offerings are provided by ZETTON Inc, featuring island-Mexican fusion dishes and island-sourced beverages.

🌴 Omeon Mykonos, operated by SWOT, opens this month at Greece’s Agios Stefanos Bay. This five-star, adults-only hotel offers 38 rooms across five buildings designed by Urban Soul Project. It showcases Cycladic minimalism with organic shapes and earthy tones. The guest rooms provide Aegean Sea views. Amenities include a restaurant, signature bar, cocktail bar, Soma Spa, and an open-air gym. An infinity pool with a sand-mimicking effect anchors the communal area.

🏠 In Bethesda, Maryland, Walker & Dunlop arranged a $104.5 million construction loan for the Ritz-Carlton Savannah, a 15-story luxury hotel. Part of Savannah's Historic District, this project redevelops two office buildings into a 168-room hotel with amenities and food outlets. Expected to enhance local hospitality, the hotel benefits from historic tax credit programs. Located near River Street and major attractions, it's set to meet luxury demand. The original building dates back to 1911.
