🏨 Treehouse Hotel Manchester completes its opening on 11 June 2026 with the launch of its 14th floor. The expansion includes two dining concepts, a rooftop lounge, and nine suites. The 14th floor hosts Sistermoon, a Southeast Asian barbecue by Sam Grainger, Luke Cowdrey, and Justin Crawford, alongside The Nest rooftop bar and The Hideout lounge. New suites offer kitchens and walk-in wardrobes, highlighting premium, experience-led offerings.

This brand targets upper-economy travelers with ADRs of $75-$90 and RevPAR of $60-$70. Studio 6 Plus offers 60–150 rooms featuring full kitchens and smart TVs. It employs a tech-forward approach with a three-click check-in system and enhanced security features. Franchisees benefit from a fee structure tied to brand-generated bookings, excluding third-party OTA channels.

🏨 Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel, Florence, reopened on April 28, 2026, after an 18-month renovation. Located in the Fiesole hills, the hotel now features 39 redesigned rooms and suites, a Guerlain spa, and restored gardens. Renovations include 27 suites and 12 rooms by Luigi Fragola Architects. Guests can enjoy new dining options and curated wellbeing experiences. The gardens cover over 10,000 square meters, and the property offers seasonal programs like yoga and sound healing.

🏨 Ennismore, in partnership with Accor India and InterGlobe Hotels, will open The Hoxton in Bengaluru City, India, in November. The hotel on Richmond Road will feature 149 guestrooms and suites, a lobby restaurant and bar, and a rooftop Italian restaurant. For business, The Apartment will offer meeting spaces for up to 240 people. This opening is part of a plan to reach 300 hotels in India by 2030. The Hoxton brand began in London in 2006.

🏨 The Imperial Bloomsbury in London will reopen this summer after a significant renovation. The 357-room hotel, managed by Remus Obertelli, features a new 327.1m² rooftop bar and restaurant. The redesign incorporates mid-century design elements and preserved Victorian features. Rooms include unique amenities and rates start at £319 per night. The hotel will host cultural and wellness events, with reservations now open. Events and dining options include listening sessions, breath rituals, and an all-day dining space.

Upper midscale projects dominate with 137 projects/14,173 rooms, 41% of the total. Seven new hotels/917 rooms opened in Q1 2026, with 32 more planned by year-end. By 2026, 39 new hotels/4,630 rooms will open, with 51 hotels/5,666 rooms by 2027, marking a 1.5% growth.
