🏨 Ennismore, in partnership with Accor India and InterGlobe Hotels, will open The Hoxton in Bengaluru City, India, in November. The hotel on Richmond Road will feature 149 guestrooms and suites, a lobby restaurant and bar, and a rooftop Italian restaurant. For business, The Apartment will offer meeting spaces for up to 240 people. This opening is part of a plan to reach 300 hotels in India by 2030. The Hoxton brand began in London in 2006.

🏨 Founded in 2004, Atzaró Group has launched the Atzaró Collection, unifying its international properties across Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. The collection highlights luxury, wellness, and sustainability, featuring a 300-year-old agroturismo in Ibiza, a private Botswana concession, and a yacht in Indonesia. With upcoming projects in Miami, Mexico, and Bali, Atzaró aims for strategic growth, emphasizing respect for landscapes and personalized service.

🏨 The Imperial Bloomsbury in London will reopen this summer after a significant renovation. The 357-room hotel, managed by Remus Obertelli, features a new 327.1m² rooftop bar and restaurant. The redesign incorporates mid-century design elements and preserved Victorian features. Rooms include unique amenities and rates start at £319 per night. The hotel will host cultural and wellness events, with reservations now open. Events and dining options include listening sessions, breath rituals, and an all-day dining space.

🏨 Preferred Hotels & Resorts added 20 new member properties from January 1 to March 31, 2026. I Prefer Hotel Rewards members can earn 2,500 bonus points for stays at these locations. Key highlights: Ametis Villa Bali, featuring 14 villas in Canggu, Indonesia; Boscolo Hotel Lyon, a historic 132-room property in France; ENVI Paje, a 22-villa beachfront lodge in Zanzibar, opening in June; and Loewen Hotel Montafon in Austria, with 102 rooms for year-round Alpine exploration.

🏨 At Q1 2026, Canada has 331 hotel projects/45,401 rooms in the pipeline. Ontario leads with 190 projects/27,567 rooms (57% of projects). Toronto tops cities with 71 projects/11,420 rooms. Upper midscale projects dominate with 137 projects/14,173 rooms, 41% of the total. Seven new hotels/917 rooms opened in Q1 2026, with 32 more planned by year-end. By 2026, 39 new hotels/4,630 rooms will open, with 51 hotels/5,666 rooms by 2027, marking a 1.5% growth.

🏨 HEI Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio by adding the historic Westin Poinsett in Greenville, South Carolina. Originally opened in 1925, the 200-room hotel is located on South Main Street, one block from the Peace Center. HEI's first South Carolina property, it features two historic ballrooms. Added to the Historic Hotels of America in 2002, this is the second hotel managed for Highline Hospitality Partners, enhancing their growing Southeast presence.

🏨 HEI Hotels & Resorts added the Embassy Suites Palm Beach Gardens PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to its portfolio. This marks HEI's 21st property in Florida. The 160-room hotel, located off I-95, recently completed guestroom renovations with future lobby updates planned. CEO Anthony Rutledge emphasized maximizing asset value. Principal Joseph Lubeck, a Palm Beach Gardens resident, highlighted local partnerships. HEI's expansion continues in Florida and the Southeast, managing premium-branded hotels nationwide.

🏨 Urban Street Development completed the Stadium Tower expansion of Hotel Indigo Tallahassee CollegeTown, increasing the hotel to 237 rooms, including 94 new guestrooms and six two-bedroom suites. They added 5,500 sq. ft. of retail space. Located at 826 W. Gaines Street, the expansion opens before graduation season for Florida State and Florida A&M universities. The grand opening is set for May 21, 2026. The hotel features on-site dining, meeting space, and a fitness center.

🏨 Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced a franchise agreement for a new 168-room hotel in La Romana, Dominican Republic, with openings in fall 2027 and fall 2028. This adds to two other properties under construction: The James Larimar City and Sonesta ES Suites Jarabacoa. The MOD Collection brand, launched in 2023, aims to blend local influences in hotel design. Guests can earn points through the Sonesta Travel Pass loyalty program.

📈 Hilton reported a 3.6% increase in global RevPAR for Q1, with net income at $383 million. By 2026, system-wide RevPAR is projected to rise 2-3%. Despite Middle East conflicts, impacts are minor, as the region forms 3% of Hilton’s business. In Q1, Hilton opened 131 hotels, adding 16,000 rooms. The luxury/lifestyle sector saw 20% of openings. Hilton plans 6-7% net-unit growth, with 36% from conversions. AI innovations enhance customer engagement, driving 80% of Hilton’s direct business.
