🏨 Orlando World Center Marriott, the world's largest Marriott, completed a renovation of its Grand Ballroom and convention spaces. The revamped Grand Ballroom spans 36,000 sq. ft., with 14 spaces, new design elements, and advanced lighting and sound systems. The hotel offers over 500,000 sq. ft. of function space, a 105,000 sq. ft. ballroom, 10 dining outlets, a lagoon pool, and more. Enhancements include modernized public areas, LED lighting, and digital boards for branding.

🏠 The Standard brand will debut in Austin, Texas, with The Standard, Austin, opening in Spring 2027. The South Congress Hotel will close for renovations in Summer 2026. This collaboration involves Hyatt, Timberline Real Estate Partners, and local architect Michael Hsu. The hotel will feature social wellness experiences, a rooftop pool, and dining options. Interior design is by Goodrich Design and The Standard's in-house team. Hyatt’s Bunkhouse brand team supports the project.

🏨 Charlottesville, Virginia, April 2026: Virginia Guesthouse Hotel & Conference Center opened near the University of Virginia’s Ivy Corridor. The hotel features 214 rooms and 25,000 square feet of meeting facilities. Managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, it includes a UVA Welcome Center offering guided tours and resources. The hotel offers cultural programming aligned with UVA schedules and three dining options. It aims to foster community engagement and support university life.

🏨 Hilton partners with Royal Orchid Hotels to open 125 Hampton by Hilton properties in India, focusing on western and southern regions like Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. This expansion aims to boost Hilton’s presence in the upper midscale segment. The properties will operate under a franchise model, driven by India's economic growth, expanding middle class, and infrastructure development. Alan Watts, Hilton's Asia Pacific president, emphasizes scaling their franchise footprint.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group has opened a 281-room property, Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hoofddorp, in Beukenhorst Business Park. Located 7 km from Schiphol Airport and 1 km from the train station, it features a restaurant, bar, shop, fitness center, and six meeting rooms covering 300 square meters with flexible walls. The hotel offers airport shuttle and A4 motorway access. General Manager Herman Klok emphasizes its importance as a milestone for the destination.

🏝️ In 2028, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech is set to open on Ourika Road, just 20 minutes from Marrakech Menara Airport. The resort will feature over 100 private suites and more than 50 serviced villas, complemented by dining venues, a beach club, and leisure facilities. Wellness offerings include hammams, saunas, and a 500 sqm gym, while sports amenities feature yoga studios and indoor squash courts. Additionally, "The Reef" kids' club will cater to families.

🏠 Mason and Fifth, in partnership with Frank Capital, will open a 56-studio guesthouse in Belsize Park, London, on 18 May 2026. The project involves restoring a red brick manor house with sustainable features like timber flooring and limestone worktops. This opening follows successful launches in Primrose Hill, Bermondsey, and Westbourne Park since 2024. Founded in 2020, the brand emphasizes community-led operations and plans further expansion across London.

🏨 Classic British Hotels expands by adding Whittlebury Park, a 700-acre estate in Northamptonshire, to its portfolio. This property includes a 36-hole golf complex, 254 rooms, a five-bubble spa, and the Murrays restaurant with three AA Rosettes. Situated near Silverstone, it offers facilities for corporate retreats. The partnership enhances distribution and marketing while maintaining Whittlebury's independence, as highlighted by directors Phillip Allsopp and Marc Webster.

🏝️ Trailborn Hotels & Resorts is set to debut Hill House at Trailborn Mendocino this summer, marking the first phase of a larger resort project in Mendocino, California. The 44-room retreat features Pacific Ocean views, walking paths, and various activities. By early 2027, the campus will expand with Mendocino Hotel, adding 20 guestrooms and 25 garden suites. The project aims to preserve the area's unique history and landscape while offering new experiences.

🏖️ Nikki Beach Hospitality Group plans to open Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Marrakech in 2028, located 20 minutes from Marrakech Menara Airport on Route de l’Ourika. The resort will feature over 100 suites and 50 serviced villas with private amenities. Wellness facilities will include hammams, saunas, and a sports complex. A beach club with a pool, dining options, and retail boutiques will be open to guests and the public. This project highlights Nikki Beach's expansion globally, with upcoming locations in Antigua, Ras Al Khaimah, Baku, and Muscat.
