🏨 Hotel Viking in Newport, Rhode Island, reopens in May, marking its 100th anniversary with a multimillion-dollar renovation led by KHP Capital Partners. The hotel features 208 rooms, a historic 1926 room key cabinet, and a local art collaboration. Chef Robert Andreozzi leads the food program with venues like Pescadou and Cap Club. Amenities include Spa Fjör and over 13,000 sq ft of event space. Kay Chapel, dating back to 1859, hosts up to 200 guests.

🍴 Led by chef Stamatis Skriapas, Onuki opened at Ilisian in Athens, originally from Costa Navarino. Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, it features a dynamic light and shadow play, with geometric lighting, rich dark-wood, and Japanese craftsmanship motifs. The poolside terrace has a sushi bar and a painting by Sofia Stevi. The interior combines Japanese and Greek aesthetics. Upper-level dining offers privacy with shoji-inspired panels by artist Katerina Charou, accommodating both private and larger gatherings.

🏨 Indianapolis, Indiana—In April 2026, Ivy Hospitality completed renovations at two Marriott properties near Indianapolis International Airport: the 96-suite Residence Inn and 86-room Fairfield Inn & Suites. Managed by Ivy Hospitality, both hotels feature new prototype designs. The Residence Inn offers 479 sq ft of meeting space, while the Fairfield Inn features a communal farmhouse theme. Both provide access to key local attractions and business corridors. Renovations were completed by Northco Construction Management.

🗽 Hyatt plans to open the Parian Chronicle, a 50-room hotel, on Paros island this summer. This marks the debut of the Destination by Hyatt brand in the Cyclades. Located in Kampos, near Paros Airport and Parikia port, the hotel features low-density architecture with private terraces and pools. The design blends traditional Cycladic styles with modern elements. Amenities include a restaurant, spa, fitness center, and spaces for cultural events, highlighting storytelling and heritage.
