🏨 Avi Brosh's Palisociety opened Hôtel Lili in Beverly Hills, a 44-room hotel in a 1939 building. Designed by the in-house team, it blends European style with Los Angeles charm. The hotel opts for a residential, atmospheric aesthetic instead of traditional luxury. Public spaces transform from reception areas to a lobby bar by night, offering intimacy and elegance. Guests have access to a nearby swimming pool, enhancing their stay with bespoke amenities.

📍 Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) added 29 members in Q1 2026, surpassing 700 properties globally. In the U.S., new locations include Key West (Florida) and California’s Santa Monica and Palm Springs. International additions feature Santorini Sky (Greece) and Telunas Private Islands (Indonesia). New properties are also set to open in Argentina, Mexico, Ireland, and India, enhancing SLH’s luxury portfolio across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, marking significant global expansion.

🏨 Down Hall Hotel in Essex launched The Charles Garden outdoor venue to boost event capacity. Designed by Hicks and Hart, the half-acre site hosts up to 180 guests. Located 15 minutes from Stansted Airport, venue packages start at £195 per person. Enhancements follow a £1m renovation completed in June 2025, part of a £2.8m investment since March 2022. The hotel reports a 75% rise in conference inquiries from 2022 to 2024, indicating a shift towards experiential events.

🏨 Savills has been appointed to select an operator for a proposed 72-bedroom hotel at Riverside Works in Bakewell, Derbyshire. Situated in the Peak District National Park, the project is part of a mixed-use scheme by Litton Properties. The hotel, pending planning permission, may expand by 17 rooms. Located near the A6, it offers links to Sheffield, Derby, and Buxton. Nearby attractions include Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

🏨 In Q1 2026, the U.S. hotel construction pipeline hits 6,020 projects and 705,825 rooms. Of these, 1,071 projects with 132,016 rooms are under construction. Luxury projects reach a record 102 projects and 25,527 rooms, increasing 16% in projects YOY. In 2026, 682 new hotels with 77,323 rooms are expected, marking a 1.4% supply increase. Projections for 2027 see 750 new hotels and 81,199 rooms, maintaining the 1.4% growth rate.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts partners with Can Gio Tourist City Corporation to develop four hotels at Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio in Ho Chi Minh City, totaling over 1,000 rooms. Properties include InterContinental (400 rooms), Crowne Plaza (400 rooms), Holiday Inn Express (130 rooms), and Garner Hotel (130 rooms). Holiday Inn Express and Garner debut in Vietnam in 2028, with InterContinental and Crowne Plaza opening in 2030. The project is part of a 7,000-room accommodation ecosystem adjacent to the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve.

📈 Accor reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of €1,313 million, a 2.3% rise from 2025. Management & Franchise revenue increased by 8.3% to €332 million. RevPAR grew by 5.1%. The group opened 48 hotels with over 6,700 rooms, achieving a net unit growth of 3.8%. The Middle East conflict, starting February 28, impacted UAE results, yet Europe and Southeast Asia saw increased demand. Accor's Luxury & Lifestyle division recorded a 6.0% increase in RevPAR.
